As you guys know - there are 3 Plaza Premium Lounge at KLIA 2 but the one located at Gateway KLIA 2 does not accept Priority Pass Membership Card as of July 2014. I did checked out both the Plaza Premium Lounge at Gateway and near L8 on 22 July 2014 and I am please to report that the one near L8 does serve food and beer too.

Bros, like I said, I can use my cards to get FREE access for my kids. That is one card per FREE entry.

To to be clearer - assuming you have a card only that grants you fREE access to PPL, You can always bring a friend along to enter the PPL with you. Your entry will be FREE BUT you got to pay for your friend's entry which will be charged to your card- refer to your card T&C.

Gateway@KLIA2 is located outside the main terminal before you enter the departure hall. After you drop you luggage, just head towards McD and take the escalator down to Level 2M where Burger King and Texas Chicken are located. Then look for Thai Odessey the PPL is next to it.

If KLIA, they seldom ask for boarding pass.

However, my experience with previous LCCT and now KLI2, they do ask to see boarding pass. However, for lounge outside departure hall, when I sent my family overseas and I am not flying, I will just ask my wife to show them the boarding pass. And if you read previous posts, b00n just show them his NRIC. I guess they just want to verify it's our Priority Pass Membership Card or Credit Card we using to enter as we need to sign on the printed copy/slip before entering.

AFAIK - the only AMEX Gold credit card that entitles the cardholder FREE entries to PPL is the AMEX KrisFlyer Gold credit card.

Last month I when to the Plaza Premium Lounge at Gateway@KLIA2 on 17 September and I still could enter for FREE using my Alliance Bank Privilege Banking Premier Debit Card. Also used my RHB cards to get FREE entries for my parents. They still do not acceept Priority Pass Membership Card.

I was told that the PPL SPA at Satellite Building now caters for travelers, i.e. they serve refreshments and food. However I did not drop by to check out the food. This PPL acept Priority Pass Membership Card.

yah, UOB Preferred Plat has revised the requirements "upwards" for PPL FREE entry and this card is kind of "useless" (i.e. ridiculous UNIRiggit redemption) for local transactions (sometimes got 5X for Overseas like SG)... but I am still keeping it, hahahaha.

If you go to North America (and the Canada Airways lounge in Paris) and Macau our local PPL especially KLIA and gateway@KLIA2 way better.

Bro, the Hamad Lounge you referring to can enter with Priority Pass Membership Card? You have any photos to share?

Unlike MBB VS, it seems that for VI need to show Priority Pass Membership Card. But I will check if that is the case when I go to PPL KLIA2@gateway because that lounge still did not accept PPMC for FREE entries last time I was there.

Human Nature - Bro, you got any idea if Citibank (Plati, PremierMiles AMEX) offer FREE access to PPL for SUPP cards? I know AMEX Plat and MBB VS do.

However, please note, nowadays Citibank website only shows Citibank PremierMiles AMEX.

Each has it's own card features. Visa Signature may give Supp Cards unlimited entries to airport lounge but it earns you less Enrich Miles with every Ringgit spent overseas and locally. So, for those who want Supp cards to enter PPL and do not need the Enrich Miles or Kris Flyer Miles but prefer Treats Points for redeeming cash vouchers or other stuff, and still need a card for overseas (5XTP), better to go with Maybank Visa Signature.

For those who use needs a card for Insurance and Quit Rent and etc where AMEX cannot be used (exclude petrol and groceries), the Visa Infinite 2X TP for local spending 100% better than Visa Signature 1X TP.

I would think so as it is no longer shown in their website but now got MACH Visa Signature but it has ridiculous condition where new to spend RM50K just for 2 free entries to PPL.

I have both RHB Plat and RHB Premier Debit Card where both grant me 4X FREE entries and I have used both cards same time to get my children into PPL.

Same applies to Maybank 2 Cars Premier and Stand Alone Visa Infinite where both give 5X FREE entries to airport lounge worldwide with the PMMC Card. i.e. you get 10X FREE entries.

Nowadays, they will swipe the cards and we need to sign the slip (exactly like as if we making a purchase with our cards).
