60k range i don't think any card can offer lounge access at HKIA.

I am using Alliance (Unlimited) and AEON new credit card (6x annually)

However both only applies for KLIA, will probably grab RHB signature / platinum for LCCT.

I was looking at RHB Platinum. Any other suggestion besides Alliance?

Alliance - easier to maintain with only 12 swipes.

RHB AF waiver condition is high when you have so many better cards to use for daily transactions.

Got to plan i.e. if Amex not waiving my annual fees in 2014, I might cancel Amex.
*
Bro, AMEX sure waive your annual fees since they have done so before.

But planning is good, so go check if AMEX Kris flyer supp card can enter for FREE too.

What I want to know now is which card allows us to enter KLIA2 Plaza Premium Lounge without needing Priority Pass Membership card.

I think the normal cards which allow similar access to LCCT PPL will allow free access as well. Only a matter of time. Similarly when PPL open in PG airport, AMEX initially have not announced free access so then I entered using PM. Subsequently after less than a month, AMEX announced free entry, so only a matter of timing. wink.gif

This may sound like a stupid question but do you guys who normally go to such PPL when you are going to depart or after you have landed?

I thought that most ppl will normally be rushing to the airport and have not much time to stop by and when landing, u don't want to leave your luggage at the baggage machine too long unattended.

Personally, I have never used the PPL before, so just curious to hear from those who did.

For myself, departure only. Arrival i can't wait to go home tongue.gif

Usually i depart from my place 2.45-3 hours before flight time, arrive airport 2 hours before flight, check in takes 15-45 minutes. Spend my time in PPL until 15 minutes before flight time then walk towards the gate.

Tks for your prompt feedback. So u don't normally stay too long and use all the available facilities like shower, food and drinks, etc.

Took shower once because of flight delay at KLIA.

Anyway, I am one type of person whom doesn't like to be late or to rush so in better word - better safe than sorry type of guy so I usually arrive 2~3hrs before flight even though I have checked in using web. So I used a lot of PPL whenever I take my flight (except for KLIA domestic flight)

Sometimes when I visit LCCT to pick up my parents or my wife, I also entered to enjoy a beer. wink.gif

Mostly depart. Especially good went we go overseas. The lounge I frequent most after LCCT is SG Changi Skyview (click here to see some photos), food not too bad, spacious and got lots of types of liquor including wine. Sometimes I would even nap there if my flight back to KL is in the late evening, hahaha

As for the luggage, for LCCT case, there is a PPL that is outside the departure/arrival hall, so collect your luggage first.

Usually if arrive LCCT, first thing on my mind is get out to the open air to take a smoke.

Me same same, arrive at least 2hrs before departure - and once reach LCCT just before counter close as I was stuck in a very bad jam due to the Moto GP.

Might be not so glamourous but in some foreign countries where meals are much more expensive, it might be worthwhile to eat at the PPL for both arrival and departure sweat.gif

Now I know why a number of people like to have access to premier lounges. I didn't realise that you could do so many things in there including getting alcohol drinks, free food and etc. I'm not the type that go to the airport early, so this never cross my mind tongue.gif
I guess it's worth it for those who travel much and get to airports early.

As for LCCT lounges...is it any good and worth getting a card that has access to it? It is a budget airline afterall.

For LCCT, you go there to escape from the crowd, and maybe grab a bottle of water before boarding biggrin.gif

Based on the citibank website, for the Citi CB Platinum Card, there is no mention of complimentary access to the PPL. Hence, u will have to bear the charges if u use the Citi CB Platinum Card.

http://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...Code=MYCCWAB7LM

If u want Cash Back and complimentary access to PPL, u can consider the Alliance Platinum.

Also, RHB Platinum gives 4x complimentary access to PPL at KLIA and LCCT but their Cash Back is only for Dining.

The PPL is located before the custom check point. so you have to finish the water before entering the boarding zone laugh.gif
