actually there's another small print.. every transaction is capped at Rm200, i.e. max rebate Rm40..
so, if those ppl wanna spend >Rm200 and get the most rebate, they have to swipe few times. |

Is it worth going through so much hassle just for the 20% rebate?
I personally won't take the trouble to do so. Don't be a penny wise pound foolish. |

QUOTE(smsbusiness2u @ Mar 6 2012, 05:37 PM) Refer to statement in OCBC Term & Condition guess should be rebates up to 200 for 1k transactions9.The maximum Bonus Rebate to be given out is capped at RM200 per transaction on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability Is it means max amount entitled for Bonus is RM200 per transaction? Or it means max Bonus is RM200 which max amount is RM1000 per transaction? |

QUOTE(xander83 @ Mar 6 2012, 04:11 PM) If u live in Penang and need to travel to the curve just for the 20%, it's not worth it. If u spend more just for the 20%, yes, u r stupid. But! If u r around kl and u r not foreveralone, occasionally u'll would like to bring ur gal out and have some proper meal (since u might be eating same zhap fan all the time) at times. And this, is a good opportunity. That's how I see it. Likewise, If u are in kl and there some celebration to do, it could be a right choice too. If I am always looking to spend more on such things just to get discount, I would have applies Citibank card, and not ocbc which the main strength is to get rebate on ur day to day and monthly essential expenses. Peace! Come to think of it, it's our 1st anniversary this coming 2nd weekend of April This post has been edited by cempedaklife: Mar 7 2012, 07:16 AM |

ya ofcourse no point getting all the way there to spend & get the discounts.
the rebates should be only 20% right and not on top of the existing 5%? |

I blieve it's ON TOP of the 5% Dining Cash Back (For OCBC Titanium Mastercard holders), as OCBC terms it as BONUSthe rebates should be only 20% right and not on top of the existing 5%? Total Rebate : 5% + 20% |
