Street price for N8 is about RM1.5K now. I think you should check out a few more dealers before you buy from this fella.

For sure. I doubt there are many 1st batch machines left out there in the market so long after the launch in Oct last year. Check out as many as you need to make sure you get the best bargains.

Try using normal with flash forced on. It will highlight the water drops more to allow them to stand out against the background.

Maybe will work, maybe not. Mostly for waterfalls you will need to use softwares like Camerapro to slow down the shutter speed to have the feel of flowing water in your pictures. But what the heck, go enjoy yourself and just snap, snap and snap. Surely you will get some nice pics with such a good camera phone. thumbup.gif

N8 @ f2.8 can also be very sharp provided there's enough lighting around. But the bokeh not so creamy as the f1.8 lor. So sifu bufung, what do you think of this?

anyway Lomo was the film camera era thingy... so digital camera cannot do that unless you edit it or got apps can process the photo straight in camera...

so my answer is "Lomo is a style of photography , not an untouch picture"  tongue.gif
in short Lomo for me is a "colour produced in photo is not same with the normal digital photography we see."

Ai yo, U guys and girls ah. Lomo sounds like "your mother". tongue.gif But then back in the good old days when you cannot view your shots immediately you have to just shoot and hope for the best. That's why the motto of lomo is 'Don't think, just shoot'.

Now that we have such a good cam on a miserable phone, why are there some sour grapes around? If we can spread the knowledge and have more to enjoy their equipment, I do not see why it's a bad thing. Perhaps some character have different agendas. Ha? sweat.gif

You can call me old anytime. I have been through days when my buddies and me would save up 20 sens a day so that we can buy a tube of film and then we borrow somebody father's camera to shoot. We did not know what we were doing then but it was fun. biggrin.gif

Now with such a powerful cam on even a handphone I do not see why some as*h0l* have to troll the thread and spoil it for the rest of the community who just want to get more from their equipment.

Lomo = lomography. Old style photography. Just go look at some 20 years older wedding photographs and you will see what I mean.

In a way it's fun and exciting. Unlike today's digital tech, you do not see what you have shot until it's processed and that adds to the thrill. With today's advancement in film there's virtually nothing that you cannot shoot with it but watch out, the results can be very surprising at the same time. rclxms.gif

Have you considered lending her your phone with Garmin on it? Even up till today, Malfreemaps is the most updated map for Malaysia on Garmin only and not other platforms. If you are so considerate and caring, then perhaps you should consider giving up your most precious of your possesions to ensure her safety. Just my humble 2 sens lor. unsure.gif
