The Sate pic if you set white balance to Cloudy it will make the food looks warmer and more tempting. As for the landscape shot, did you use landscape mode or automatic? I suspect it's automatic as landscape normally makes the sky looks more bluish in the photo. Just my 2 cents though.

U learn from mistakes and comments from friends lor. I also went out with my sifu on Saturday and took quite a few shots but only a handful came out good.

Thanks but I was just lucky. Snapping photo is about being at the right place at the right time. In short, luck plays a hell of a lot of a chance but you need to be there to snap it.
