yea it seems helix hx7 got 5 liter in tesco, but other shops only 4, i also got 1 bottle but it seesm the seal was intact but the cap can be opened when i bought at tht tesco in feb.
now got alot even the castrol sellin in tesco, but some say cap colour diff frm spareparts shop.
now days shell, mobil n castrol lots of fakes

How to know it's fake or not?

I only know that the engine oil is made in EU..the one sold in petrol station are made in Malaysia

thts the confusing part to knw which is which.
liek castrol magnetac has green n red cap

Update on the Air Intake Snorkel and Cover:

I have managed to get a local accessory shop to supply and install the snorkel and cover in Kepong, its at Rainbow Kepong.

Rainbow Kepong will even cut the hole (to improve air intake from the bumper, similar to SitYong pic) and add a piece of wire mesh for all owners who wanna get the full set of snorkel and cover, all in for RM220.

Take note that the price is very close to what I can get from Vox Motorsports in JB, thus saving us the hassle to DIY, cut and install....

Just mention Steven from Proton Inspira Club, plum red with plenty of LED, asked you to get it from him...

wow... sorry to hear about that... is everything ok? managed to open the car door?

door not open yet, but now i have to carry 2 different keys as i changed only the door lock, if full set with ignition will by RM 1233, now problem is the small key hole cap need to spray, which workshop will to spray this 1 inch x 1.5 inch cap

Already got stock?

Sityong, sorry to hear about this. Why not just cover it up with a keyless cap (like the other doors) since we seldom use the key anyway, this way no need to invest in another lock/key. Thief also lesser 1 option to pry open the door. Just my 5cent thought on this.

yes im thinking to buy a full covered cap for this, so no "hole" no " desire" but i am checking how if our key got no more battery, how we are going to enter the car and start the engine without alarm beep...

Our next upgrade, change to keyless entry.

Change battery every 1 to 2 years... cheaper than losing car... In case of no batt (which maybe happend once or twice), can call any "locksmiths" to open the door... Now I am wondering where to get this cap, proton parts got sell? Get the passenger side.

Seriously, I never use the key to open the door, use only the remote. It's very good if we can source out the little plastic to cover the key hole...
