QUOTE(cle900706 @ Apr 17 2011, 08:52 PM) Blitz... arnd 168-ish the last i heard...I hear that Simota's is arnd 120-ish, thus the question on how good are they.... I know the air flow definately better than KNN and other oil filters, i think trade off is more dust intake and thus need to change engine oil more frequently, not to mention the need to clean the air flow sensor more frequently too... QUOTE(shouxx @ Apr 19 2011, 07:13 PM) Bro, he is NOT perli or mocking you... he has personal experience....He tried drag/chase us 2.0 (2 diff cars, both stock 16 rims compared opposed to his 18 - his and the other 2.0 with KNN filter, mine with standard paper filter) We play paddle shift while he play his stick.... Gears 1 -3 he can keep up, but lose a little each time he sift gears (paddle shifters can shift at 6K rpm and it drops only to 5K before it picks up again)... Gears 4 onwards, we pull away..... End of story.... Let Jack confirm this... |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Apr 19 2011, 08:54 PM) Guys ...need some fast answers: Depends on how fast you drive and where you usually drive....1) How much are you paying for the insurance on the windshield of your Inspira 1.8/2.0?? I read somewhere the 2.0 windshield cost RM5k to RM6K because it has the rain sensor built in and the insurance is RM700?? 2) Is CVT gears repairable if it kong? Like normal auto-gears, you still can overhaul. CVT possible?? TQ. 2.0 windscreen = RM2500 from Proton, RM2000(ish) from EON (that orders it from MMC), this is because the 2.0 has the rain/light sensor in it. So far no local manufacturer of this yet, heard sometime after middle of the year... 1.8 windscreen = RM1800 from Proton (if memory serves me right). Added on April 19, 2011, 10:03 pm QUOTE(shouxx @ Apr 19 2011, 05:43 PM) after much delay & consideration (with a lot of help from this thread Check the painted rims pics here...!!btw, anyone has experience on spraying rim diff colour? saw someone do it near my office and looks pretty good & even.. just not sure how long it can last? QUOTE(zuladha @ Apr 20 2011, 12:28 AM) actually rain sensor not fixed to windshield. Its split & can take out. I already take it out & hang with the wire. You are right on this... As the 2.0 has the sensors, the windscreen has a special hole/slot pre-cut into the windscreen to accommodate the sensors, thus the slightly higher price tag. Also due to the pre-cut hole, you cant use a 1.8 windscreen for the 2.0 if you wanna use those auto wiper and headlamp functions. |

QUOTE(goldfries @ Apr 21 2011, 02:34 AM) not considering City cos that's C-segment car with C-segment price. Errrrr.... I tot City was a B-segment car, while the Inspira a C-Segment??? considering Forte / Inspira cos those are B-segment with C-segment price. now just no idea how Naza fares against Proton, after sales that is. looks like I'll have to study Forte's TOYS first. |

QUOTE(cle900706 @ Apr 21 2011, 03:54 PM) I was with the foreman all the way, chat and tok kok.... in Sect 13 PJHe left the spare oil in the front seat, and even left the filter box in my boot, he say for reference... That was also how I learnt that not all foreman knows how to tweak an Inspira way back in Jan 2011, he didnt know how to lift up my headlamp throw.... QUOTE(arthas_teo @ Apr 21 2011, 11:58 PM) hehe i thnk will take out the duck tail. but if leave any defect will force to install back again. sry to burden u bro shorty There will be 3 holes at the boot, the duck lips uses clip + double side tape to secure it in place...Depends on what color is your car, you may wanna keep the duck lip if you dont plan to putty cover the holes and re-spray your boot. If your car is black, then you could use those black rubber tape over it, but its fugly and short term. |

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Apr 22 2011, 03:21 PM) i believe but where is the prove? this is what im looking for.. all verbally! i saw the pic dunno what is that? got any translate that can help me? thanks! Dude,The engine is Mitsubishi's 4B11, the ECU is from Mitsubishi, and the gearbox is from Jatco (all from 2.0P Inspira) and is the identical ones as in the LGT. Proton is under contract that they cannot touch or change the ECU/4B11 engine/CVT settings, so when there are "paper performance" difference, its coz Mitsubishi de-tuned the engine as compared to the full power output of the LGT. Why they do it? Business decisions, as the LGT is being sold in Malaysia still, so they prolly wanted the LGT to have a slightly better output than the re-badged Inspira. Need proof? Go ask Mitsubishi.... Need help or opinion here, ask properly and nicely, even if your English is weak, you can still type nice sounding words and grammar.... |
