Bro... go to the branch, there should be a poster with DSZ (CEO Proton) with a pledge of good service... his email is listed there.... make sure u copy the email in front of the branch manager and sales person.... if they cant settle it for you, then tell them you will email DSZ personally about this...

Also, you were conned left and right.... there is no such thing as a 3 year free service + parts + labor... its 2 years... but u can demand it if you have it written in black and white...

Our engine top up to 4.2 - 4.3L... and they did give me back the balance in the small 1L bottle... its in my boot now...

I actually asked the guy who did my car for the remainder, and he left it in the front passenger foot area....

Also, regarding your showroom, is it a Proton Edar showroom or its a Dealer showroom (sounds more like a dealer showroom)?? Dealer showrooms are not directly under Proton, but you can still complain the issue to DSZ now you have his email...

1. The air intake snorkel - which is the part with a big hole in front and is connected to the air filter box - 1 pc (the big "snake" at the back, as per pic below)


There is no installation included (but u can join us at TT and we can help to fit in... easy DIY) and there is no cutting of holes on the engine cover plastic (the pic below)


This part is shipped from Vox from JB on as is basis.... and I am only a mediator in the Group Buy, am not a reseller or making profit from this, its just that I have a lazy bunch of frens who are interested in getting this item.


There is a second item in the first pic, the scoop cover... i can ask Vox to include the item but any interested buyer need to indicate if you want only the snorkel or scoop cover, or BOTH...

Update on the Air Intake Snorkel and Cover:

I have managed to get a local accessory shop to supply and install the snorkel and cover in Kepong, its at Rainbow Kepong.

Rainbow Kepong will even cut the hole (to improve air intake from the bumper, similar to SitYong pic) and add a piece of wire mesh for all owners who wanna get the full set of snorkel and cover, all in for RM220.

Take note that the price is very close to what I can get from Vox Motorsports in JB, thus saving us the hassle to DIY, cut and install....

Just mention Steven from Proton Inspira Club, plum red with plenty of LED, asked you to get it from him...

Since you are not equiped with enough knowledge of what a real EVO X can do feature-wise, lemme SHOW you what a real EVO X can do...



Its sad to know that there are people out there who only knows to hide behind a computer screen and talk kok slamming stuff that they either dont own, or cant afford to own.... talk is cheap, proving yourself an idiot is even cheaper...

Real men with real EvoX is not ashamed to join us Inspiras for TT, and is even proud to sit at same table as us, while you butthurts out there hide behind a computer and just simply talk away about cars that you obviously dont own....

I have paired 3 devices to it (thats the max i think)...

All you have to do is OFF the 1st BT device (to lose its connection), then press the blue BT button, and you will see RE_CONNECT on the HU... quickly press connect on your device, and once successful, you will see CONNECT on the HU.... repeat until successful, as fast as you can... and nope, the HU cant tell you which unit is connected...

For me, i usually press both together....

And it only have ONE RCA out, not two as per normal players.... and no sub out either....!!!

I agree, adding VS and GC helps, my lights are brighter, my radio slightly better reception (but still sucks...!!), and the car is lighter and throttle much responsive at low end...


For the seat belt hook, just lift up the back seat and you will find it under there, then just snap it back into place (there are two slots to push the clip back)... simple DIY...

fremont88: U can get a good component set for fronts, and a normal(ish) speakers for back, and a good sub for the boot. Just be aware that our boot has a metal bar across it, and the standard height is less than 12 inches (even lessser on the sides).... so u need to customize the box instead of buying a standard 12inch sub box...

fremont88: For your budget, you can go high end component sets from Helix, Kicker, Soundstream, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Focal, Morel, JL... but each have their own characteristics (warmth, sound staging, SQ or SPL)....

Back door you can opt for co-axial 2-way speakers....

Add amp to drive the components (2 or 4 ch up to your choice).... with 3K you can get the higher ended components.... but pace yourself as these brands highest ended products can cost a lot...!!

sh0rty 5: I have tried a 12 in woofer in box, it wont fit to the seat coz of the metal bar blocking.

I found a 10in Focal sub and need to custom a box to fit that area.... So u need to check if your box fit or not....


For RM599 to get compo set, 12in sub + box and amp, good price for whole set...

BTW, how much are you selling the Alpine Type R compo set??
