I've tried twice washing without shampoo, feels weird and "not very clean" to me, so I have used shampoo ever since then. I just felt that to effectively clean the oil and tar is better to use shampoo to really clean it off, but use those mild shampoo, invest in those better brands ones that is clearcoat safe, my SG water bedding and shine still there, so no harm if you are old school like myself prefer to use car shampoo

To add to that.. I think it would also be wise to use the MF washing pads that looks like that rasta hair.. Too minimize scratches.. Anyway.. If u think that the SG layer lost its coat or protection u can always go back to touchup.. 5 years warranty right?

I can't remove the water stains on my SG layer. I think that speaks for itself ( =

If you SG, amke sure your car is usually out of the rain... Otherwise, the watermarks will etch on, and unlike a normally waxed car, where the etching will likely be on the wax layer, and you can re-wax after polish, or just wax to cover up the pits, you can't do that with an SG'ed car.

After a wash now, my car is still very shiny and overall, ncie. But look closely and you will see the watermarks.

anyone here also have this problem?

still dont know why, waiting to claim warranty for weatherstrip for this car from Eon and it is taking years to do it.

Can any1 share some advice? it is not the wind sound, but like whistling sound, and gets rather annoying.

Took out door visor and took for a test run also have the problem. this sound goes off once the window is lowered down a little(just a small tap, without the glass going down until allow outside air to enter.)

Otherwise, this car has been great. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

it is just dried water stains, nothing to do with MF or shampoo, mr Choong can help you to get rid of it, just make an appointment with him, he is more than happy to help you, I have emailed him about this as I am also facing it, water stain happens to every car, I think the stains is much more visible because of the SG layer probably, only if you scrutinize it under bright light

I went for a test drive, Inspira 1.8CVT (they don't have 2.0 ver), and right after that, with Forte 6 Speed. Hopefully I can test Inspira 2.0 tomorrow night before making up my decision. In summary, I'm pretty disappointed with both car. I'm spoiled with continental ride tongue.gif

Proton SA said, they're not sure yet if the earth quake in Japan would affect deliveries.
