hi guys..new here bought my ace on 12/3, trade in my bb and bought this phone. a happy user yeay!

i dunno how to include chinese input in my keyboard, under input languages, there is no chinese for me to choose... any help?

change the input method swype input method. just touch and hold the screen in the text screen, it will prompt the menu, then choose input method > swype. after that, u change to the chinese at the bottom right corner of the screen.

It's no brainer.

Just tell them Samsung A-C-E. Spell it. haha

tell them 5830 is easier..

for FB user there r an alternative apps call Flow, can get from applanet.
the pop up notification function is nice.

Not all seller are well verse with numbers as sammy has many models in the market. Nokia also got 5830.

Successfully rooted wit SOC1.7 (after some extensive reading) for the mean time just to move apps around wit ap2sd+move2sd enabler. one thing i've notice, need to reboot the phone after rooting for it to take effect.

i've a couple of questions as a noob:
1. wat app u guys think got to have after rooting?
2. which prolauncher proved to be working wit ace?

been there.. done that.. even at full vol the notifications sound is hardly loud ... next try is gonna use wave file see if it have any diff from using mp3 files..

Good deal, but it's kinda tiring to pay 24 months.

guys, got 1 question. How do u do a nandroid backup on ur phone? the only thing i know is that u have to root ur phone. the other part including what apps to download and how to do it is a bit fuzzy... can help me ah?
