Hello all! Super new user. bought my ace on 10th march. Wanted to buy moon's ace, but out of stock, went to buy at low yat, got 1000. I cannot wait till next week because need a new phone ASAP, so i took it. the guy ask for 50 deposit, went back with phone, some jibber jabber latter, price went up 50 bucks. i guess being a newbie, i just took it. add in sandisk card class 6, 8gb RM100. total, 1150 for my ace. i saw a post saying 8gb micro sd is only 60++. cheated twice T-T

altho the ace was supreme and to me it was 1150 well spent. although the battery is a big problem. the data is also a big problem (student, no data plan). I need to use data for mms only so i had to root the phone to block other application.

Successfully rooted with SOC v1.7

How to see how much battery the app has been using? I use Network Monitor, when I go to Battery Use I cannot see how many % of battery it has used, only can see Wifi, Phone idle, Display, etc.

The glossy side is also different between white and black. White is bright chrome while black is gunmetal.

err guys..why my ace cant access mass storage using pc or lappie, been tested 2 ace.

previously on 2.1,there is usb connectivity setting,but this 1 dont have lor... haizz... any step i miss? or must use kies?

Still can't find Galaxy Ace on Samsung Mobile MY website, can I just go to Galaxy S I9000 page to download Kies ? It should be the same for all the phones right ?

Btw, i tried to check the e-warranty status by sms, PC <your IMEI no> to 62002, its says service unavailable.

use official kies from samsung it will work on every samsung phones...
