QUOTE(low7 @ Jun 1 2012, 02:41 AM) I have a couple of question about Hotlink 365. (1) I must have RM33 credit first then subscribe, after that have to top RM30 within 6 months. So that means that RM30 can last for one whole year? I don't have to top up anymore. Am I right? (2) For the New Hotlink Plan, the rate is 24sen/min & 5sen/SMS. If subscribe to Hotlink 365, is the rate the same or different? Coz' I notice Hotlink 5 & Minimum Balance have different rate. (10 Yes, right (2) Rates are the same - the basic rates depend on your balance above or below RM10, and Hotlink 5 is a 3-day pass with lower rates This post has been edited by dgboy: Jun 1 2012, 10:05 AM

QUOTE(Jefferson1983 @ Jun 4 2012, 11:42 PM) Would like to confirm. once the validity of 365days expired, let say i didn't want to subscribed anymore, 1.)does it means that it will be automatically revert to the normal plan instead of hotlink 365 plan? 2.)will the remaining credit fortified? 1) yes 2) no Both these answer is based on my current knowledge. It would be safer to check with Maxis nearer the time, in case the rules changed in the meantime. This post has been edited by dgboy: Jun 5 2012, 01:52 AM

Not sure if this works > try smsing your ic number [no hyphens] to 22011.
Other way > register for My Hotlink online account and your name should be inside under Profile or Personal Information.

Calls to non-Maxis line is still 18 sen/min as far I know.
How did you find the 36 sen rate? Was it just one call or several?

QUOTE(smsbusiness2u @ Jul 20 2012, 11:05 PM) anyone know there is different Deactive Period for different plan? pls provide the Deactive Period detail for each plan. if the line expired. can still get back the same phone no? Unless maxis change it again: latest plan = 90 days hotlink plan 2.0 = 50 days hotlink plan 1.0 = 0 days older than that = 90 days If you're not using the 0 days plan (90 days validity for RM5), you can test it by letting your line lapse then dial *122# to get account cancellation date. QUOTE(smsbusiness2u @ Jul 20 2012, 11:18 PM) anyway to get back the phone no after expired? If it has only lapsed a few days, you can go to Maxis centre and beg with them. I heard sometimes they can retrieve the number, but they normally require you to convert it to postpaid. This post has been edited by dgboy: Jul 21 2012, 08:21 AM

QUOTE(jtdc @ Jul 30 2012, 01:13 PM) Hi, I just like to ask... how do I keep my Hotlink SIM active just to receive SMS or missed calls? The primary purpose is for Maybank TAC receiving. I am aware of Hotlink 365, but how about its renewal if I am not within Malaysia? Thanks. You can still renew overseas if you have enough credit to pay for the renewal. The *100# menu can be used while roaming overseas on most networks and there are no charges for doing so.

In reply to JuneResources:
Hotlink users can always email to Maxis customer service. After that they will normally call you (from Private Number).

Top up to stay active. Alternatively, you may subscribe to Hotlink 365 (available to Extra / Basic / the New Hotlink Plan) for subscription of RM33/year.This post has been edited by dgboy: Nov 2 2012, 08:55 PM

I am using New Hotlink Plan after switching a few months ago.
And yes I subscribed to Hotlink 365.
The words I quoted above are from Hotlink website, FAQ on the new plan.
Anyhow, I agree it is better safe than sorry as I had bad experience before with switching plans under my old Hotlink number, so you might want to print the FAQ and show it to the staff at Maxis Centre.
It is true that the previous plans, between Basic/Extra and New Hotlink Plan could not add Hotlink 365, so the guy is probably relying on out-dated information.

call 122 or dial *122#
when is your credit expiry date?
if you have passed that, your line will be barred no matter how much credit you have
