But if the modem router located far from tv set...then it will quite difficult to connect using cable .. some people dont want to lay cable inside the house because it will be quite messy.

can suggest any cheap access point that can receive wifi signal from another router? from there we can connect the tv using cable and internet are thru wireless.

if thats the case, then get the HomePlug, I still dont recommend wifi, just from my experience, when you play movies over the net, its very bandwidth intensive.....I do watch youtube clips and movies quiet frequently, and being on LAN it helps!

how much is the cheapest HomePlug you can get?

I'm using TP-Link PA211 KIT which cost me RM150. There's cheaper version at RM99 but not recommended as it's not designed to cater for HD video streaming.

Is this available locally? If so, where and how much?
