QUOTE(Abangpedro @ Jun 20 2006, 05:47 PM) Big 4's.....only Slayer worth listening nowadays but the others (last 10 year album ) are just rot.......
Carcass not death metal -----> Grindcore to be exact. Carcass is between death metal and grindcore... but most of their material are based on death metal.... like Heartwork for example, just clean death metal. Gotta love em! QUOTE(gordonleblanc @ Jun 20 2006, 06:06 PM) carcass is unique there is nothing similar.... No wonder I've never heard of any band sounded like them, at least to my ears. QUOTE(whackerinc @ Sep 19 2006, 11:53 AM) I wear clothes. Hahaha. Seriously, I'm a full-time metalhead but I look like a dork most of the time. It's only when I wear my metal tee shirts that I give away my musical preference. I wear Ts and jeans/short cargo pants.... and with spectacles. As far as I've seen, death metal bands don't wear black or goth-ish clothing that can make them look ganas... this which often distinct them apart from black metal bands. grind/death bands such as napalm or carcass ... wear t-shirt and cargo pants only... or no shirt at all!

AFAIK DEicide ain't black metal... they're death metal.
Rumbling around with no tunes? I actually find their riffs are typical death metal.
Just say that death metal ain't your thing... probably Linkin Park suits you well?

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Oct 5 2006, 04:47 PM) You support a specific artist by buying their original CD and listen to their music Any band is cool...I love LP, everyone loves LP. I don't like Deicide is because you can heard a damn word that is correct also... like ghfm dfgbfmnfgjgv - is what they sing! Bad and negative lyrics sucks... even like Slipknot, I don't really like it's really.. sounds really freeky or gross sometimes... but I buy their original CD is for my drum training purpose.. because Joey Jordison is one of the famous metal drummer in the world... so... you love things like LP... so you should belong in the 'rock' thread instead. metal thread is for headbangers. p/s: not everybody loves LP... sorry ya This post has been edited by soulfly: Oct 5 2006, 04:58 PM
