QUOTE(noise_terrorist @ May 28 2006, 11:19 AM) bleeding through is a straight edge band eh? i dun see any X mark in their hand.. : P there are wayyyy too many 'fashion' bands nowadays, especially those so called gothic bands, but their music was.... to me they r just another metalcore band blend with speed hardcore style guitar n grinding drum work.. but still they r boring the exact word is FASHIONCORE... that's why i still prefer thrash/death metal bands.... they don't need flashy clothing, just T-s and jeans will do.... it's the music that tells everything |

underground scene at my place lacked of extreme musics, the veterans play more to progressive and power metal, like those of Iron Maiden etc....
kids just play Nirvana, and all the emo emo ....so boring but during my school days last time, we had a lot of grindcore and death metal bands... not anymore though |

QUOTE(gordonleblanc @ Jun 19 2006, 11:48 PM) nightwish also very boring, firstly you are attracted to the vocals but after a couple of times listening to it, you will be bored with the dull and straight forward rhythm & plain similarity on almost every song and album I agree a lot. I just don't understand all the hype about this band. Okay, the vocalist (what was her name again?) was a classical trained singer. No big deal. I rather listen to Mariah Carey anytime. |
