C-50 version is 1299, Red color with larger HDD is 1399.

In Singapore, 1215B comes with E-350 and Win 7 HP and retails for 699SGD. During IT Show, price dropped by 100 SGD.

I'm looking at the 1215B because I:

1. Am an Asus nut
2. Like simple designs
3. Have used the 1215 series before and quite like it
4. Don't like to have a fan constantly whirring

It is, another person here already has it. Says he's very satisfied with it. And E-350's clock is only 1.6Ghz.

I asked Evernew last week regarding the 1215B E-350, they said they can order it if I wanted it. Still, I'll need to get back to them.

Dunno la... that was last week, before PC Fair. Need to call them up again just to make sure. This is the Evernew in MidValley.

The people in GS? Got some people that help you import items from the US at a cost.

Well the C series is the Atom competitor, E series is the killer. When you look at it, it's priced exactly the same as the dual cored Atoms while offering a better overall package in terms of performance and battery life.

Not to mention, netbooks with the C-50 are almost as cheap as netbooks using single core Atoms.

If 1215B E-350 comfirm takde, no point I spend too much money importing it in from other countries so I'll just settle for the smaller brother.

I am, if the price is not too high but I still prefer getting a unit here. At least I don't need to worry about the transportation and condition when it arrives.

E-350 is more powerful then the Tegra 2.
