but galaxy s RAM is better than SL rite ... galaxy S is 512Mb, whereas SL is 478MB of RAM ... correct me if i'm wring ... thanks

SenQ still 1190 (+rm12 for rm100 member discount).. Most shops in Digital mall is 1290. One shop there offered 1300 inclusive of screen protector and 8gb card.. Anything more than 1290 for standard issue is trying to make money.

Im having problem getting casing though. Most shops saying 1-2 weeks for casing to arrive here. Anyone bought flip leather casing for this phone d?

I tried the root and lagfix above, works for my SL. Quadrant benchmark ju
mp from 850+ to 1700+ after lagfix. So far everthing smooth.

for those who having a problem in locking the gps, i have some tips for you.

Method One – Most Successful , quickest GPS lock
Disable ‘Use Wireless Networks’ under Settings —> Location and Security.
Go into LbsTestMode (*#*#3214789650#*#*) or (use the shortcut method)
Go to Application Settings
Enable MS-Based Mode(in operation mode )
Increase Accuracy to 100
Leave the rest stock
Return to the main LbsTestMode menu
Go to SUPL/CP Settings
Select the Serve FQDN Type drop down menu
Hit AUTO Config
Exit to the dialer and reboot your Vibrant twice for good measure.

Method Two – Untested
1 – Disable “Use Wireless Networks” – Settings / Location & Security
2 – Dial *#*#3214789650#*#*
3 – Under “Application settings” Change “Operation Mode” to MS Based
4 – Under “SUPL/CP Settings” Change the SERVER & PORT to supl.google.com and port 7276 [ Do not use www. in front of supl]
5 – REBOOT
6 – Turn back on the “User Wireless Networks”

Method Three – Untested by myself, but others have said it works
1 – Dial *#*#3214789650#*#*
2 – Go outside to get an unimpeded GPS fix.
3 – Choose Delete GPS Data button.
4 – Choose Get Position Test button. Let it run for 3 min or until you have 10 to 12 Sat locks and back out.

p/s i tried method one and my papago lock less than 30 second.

hey guys do you have issue connecting the phone to samsung kies?

i got the usb cable connected, and on the home screen of the phone it says connected, press home key to quit kies, but on the pc itself, the connected device there, it's just showing 'connecting'.... and it's been like that since day one.

anything that i missed out?

seng heng guys said if i topup rm69 more i can get 5 years warranty lorh. for me 3 years is more than enuf huhu
