I was wondering:
1. will Samsung put Touchwiz 4.0 in this model (with Gingerbread)?
2. When will Gingerbread release?
3. As the HW is diff from SGS, i bet Custom Roms will have to wait? Any news on custom rom though?
4. SGS inheritance (is it there)? Is the GPS problematic? What about lag? Does it require lag fix? and erm...... is Samsung STILL using RFS? [I think they are sad.gif]

by laggy , can u define laggy? scrolling time or gaming time.. cause with a 1ghz processor this phone isnt supposed to lag that much compared to the ace.. T.T
*
Not game time.......... More on LOADING APPS and multitasking.......... The Galaxy S would just lag the shit out of itself........ I tried it (lags more than ace)

Gaming of course SGS better than Ace but doing average things like surf net, sms, call, music player i found ace snappier...........

but galaxy s RAM is better than SL rite ... galaxy S is 512Mb, whereas SL is 478MB of RAM ... correct me if i'm wring ... thanks
*
WRONG! Galaxy S: 384 M RAM + 128 MB (graphic memory) = 512 MB

Samsung actually considered lied to SGS owners........ Their device only 384 MB RAM... Wanna see proof? youtube galaxy s task manager......

In comparison to SL, SL has about ~100 MB more than S...

still cann't what you mean?

are you saying looking for TOuchwiz Launcher/ Samsung Launcher under Application?

I cannt see any program for thisĀ  cry.gif

I ain't that sure..... cos I'm an Ace user running leaked 2.3.3........ The menu has changed significantly (for the better)....
GO to settings -> Mange applications -> Manage (ALL) Application -> Scroll down to find Touchwiz Launcher/ Samsung Home...... Click it -> Then click "Clear Data"

BTW, I had this issue on the Galaxy Ace.......

As I said earlier, all your home and application (sorting) customization will be reset......

Well it better not drop too much... Later Galaxy Ace cannot sell already..... Btw, I'm used to use a friend's Galaxy Ace...... I think S SL much better....

sorry, how does one take screenshots like this?

edited: sorry apparently the re-quote didn't show a the screen capture. my question is how does one take a screenshot on the android?

oh yea, just make sure im right: google maps on the android REQUIRES a data connection and not GPS link, right?
*
GPS - to find out where you are on Earth...
Maps - See maps lar........

Google Maps and all other navigation apps does this :
1. GPS lock...
2. Maps...

Google Maps doesn't store the map on your SD, so it requires data connection to download the maps........
As for GPS lock, yes Google Maps requires it if you want no see where you are on Earth...
