im using resin case right now.but prefer to use flip,since i usually put my phone into pocket before d screen is locked.due to that,i have accidentally called names from my contact unknowingly(i also dont notice when did i put my hand into pocket).at least flip case will cover the screen n prevent those unintentional calls ive made(i hope so) from happening again.but its a bit bulky i think.anyway,im in d list for dat flip leather case order by shlimsk

If ure comparing this phone to galaxy ace, if u really have d budget then better go for galaxy sl.i also shortlisted my choice for this 2 phones b4 I opt for galaxy sl.galaxy ace has prob of sods which really bothers me based on reviews.bsides it doesn't support flash n lower proc.I'm not sure whether it has gpu or not.

As some people don't recommend this phone is bcoz of its new galaxy plus n other siblings.if u have budget for those than no harm for u to choose them.many people don't like this phone due to its screen.but still u have 2add another 200-300 for dat.if ure not a big fan for samoled then this phone is a good choice.performance wise it has unnoticable diff with its higher spec galaxys(except galaxy s2)

yes,d screen is enough for me,n maybe all other sgsl user.but i bet if u ask other people around, most of them want dat amoled, better camera etc.sgsl is out of d league bcoz its a downgrade version of galaxy s.n they comparing sgsl price with those ap galaxy s.when i buy this phone also all shoppers suggest me to buy ap galaxy s.even worse,one shopper also ask me why i dont go for iphone 4 dunno how she thinks dat i shud go for something about rm3k when i only plan to buy a 1.2k phone

u can juz remove ur external sd n use normal sd card adapter to put into ur computer.check if d file is still there.if it is,then try to tranfer back to ur phone.i think it can be done(i never tried myself afterall)

im not sure on how u can transfer d file back to ur phone actually.if u plugged in ur phone to the computer,what does it shows at ur My Computer?anyway u can refer about the solution of this problem from the link below.some people has faced this problem n they suggested some solution for it.but its quite greek n roman for me to read what they have posted so far i dont know anways to make us fully utilize external sd card without swapping it.maybe have to wait for gingerbread or other upgrade?

about xxkb3, u can refer here.but i think the ts is comparing it with ddkb2 which is the stock rom for indian sgsl,n our stock rom is dxkb2,so dont know whether it is valid for us or not

but as for myself,i had rooted my device,flash my firmware to xxkb3 n do the external sd swapping.lucky i dont encounter any problem along d way.im not sure whether its bcoz of xxkb3 firmware or not,but my gps now is able to lock in within 10-15seconds using GPS test plus app.i only able to do so after flashing to xxkb3.if not i will take around 3-5min to lock my position with d same app.n d interface runs more smoothly after flashing.swype mode become default writing option(b4 i flash d default writing option is samsung keyboard).i think its worth trying to flash to xxkb3 firmware

For games in galaxy sl, I always download games that is compatible with galaxy s.n all are playable so far.i want to try install dungeon defender but I read it says requirement is 512mb ram, so I don't dare to install.anybody had tried install dungeon defender in sgsl?

Based on what software u use if I'm not mistaken.if papago then don't need connection.but google map u need to enable packet data.correct me if I'm wrong also

about d gps,maybe bcoz ure indoor or maybe not turn on.last time i try indoor, i wait even 30 min no signal after i install papago.but dat was my first time using papago.then after following some forum then i know indoor signal if u can get already considered lucky but after i flash to xxkb3,im able to get signal indoor.maybe the firmware really have some fix on gps

i could not notice any difference in battery consumption.b4 flash i can stay idle for hours with minimal battery usage,n upon extensive usage can get until 9hours only.n it still d same even after flashing to xxkb3.
when u install d nfs apk file,make sure u also copy d android folder provided in d zip fil into ur internal sd as well.then only it will work.if not then it will crash.n nfs will crash if there is incoming call during playing.so b careful to not let anybody call u while playing d game

congrats bro.able to swap ur internal become external sd also?

not sure about how to back up the phone data.im also noob in android.but many people say titanium backup is good.i never try it.so far i only copy data to laptop using samsung kies.huhu.

i think if u on d packet data,there will be an icon at the status bar at the upper screen(where there is also battery,clock etc) which written whether u r using 3g,hsdpa etc with green n orange arrows.dat icon always there if i on d packet data,but disappear when i disabled it

sorry,im no expert in the telco plans.best way is to go to celcom centre and ask or call their customer service line

im not sure but i think we are prohibited here to post cracked software links?if mods find out we can be warn if im not mistaken.if want the link shud only give in pm.better b careful fellow sgsl users

i also noob in android.i choose to buy this phone bcoz it is good for value and as to learn for my first android.not willing to spend too much on hi-end phone when i only first time using android.i think even with this sgsl ive not yet able to use it to the maximal potential

ow well,i charge it overnight.n i do wake up to unplug the charger out of my dream im serik already.last time using n82 i always charge overnight.n also use until phone dies off.then i buy new battery for the phone only tahan for less than 6 months.so dont always overcharge ur phone battery, n also dont use the battery until the phone dies off.it surely will lessen ur battery life.

i dont know whether its good or not but i only use task manager provided in GO launcher EX. at least it shows how many program was running in the background and i can choose to turn them off.but from time to time some 6-7 apps will automatically be shown in the task manager even when i was idle.like the music player,daily briefing,facebook etc.maybe it runs automatically when we did not even use them or when we have closed them?

maybe bcos of ur data plan.i alternately use my celcom broadband sim with my normal celcom sim(my house dont have wifi ).i can connect to hsdpa directly when i use d broadband sim card but unable to do so with my normal sim even when i on the packet data.but not sure also.better ask celcom regarding this

Yup, my contact also will force close if there is 2 google symbol combined to the contact.my solution is press menu button then choose delete.delete the 2 google combined contact then it will not happen again.i think we should not sync our contact with google to avoid this prob

i think its when u first time on ur phone,ull be prompt whether to sync with gmail or not.if u choose not to sync,then only it will not join ur contact with google etc.once sync then the contact will be joined.or u can off the sync features in settings/accounts and sync.but still those contact that were joined will stay joined as it is.u need to delete them manually..

ok,i also can play plant vs zombies.tried installs 2 types of plant vs zombies.1 is the pvz hd and it can only upload until loading page then crash.

the other one the normal 70mb++ apk file and first time loading it forced close.then 2nd time open it operates normally(able to finish the first 2 stages )

so maybe people who cant play pvz is due to wrong file downloaded.check back ur link or find other files from different sites
