Another new proud owner of galaxy sl here.my first android phone.so far finds it quite smooth n good.still trying to explore wut an android phone can do.anyway,d swype function is very interesting!

maybe its bcoz ur software is corrupted?didnt try uninstall n install it back?or try search for different d/l source?ive not experiencing crash so far.but only tested yesterday for around 10 minutes after gps locking..will see later if it still goes well.updated to d new map provided in malfreemaps

dats how seng heng warranty is.they will refer all ur data based on ur seng heng card.1st year by manufacturer n d rest by seng heng.if u got some trouble in 2nd or 3rd year,theyll send to their technician for repair.they may also send to manufacturer back depends.if their technician could not get it done or not worth it to repair ur item,then theyll replace with something new at d same price u bought d item.
dats based on my experienced.last time i bought nec laptop from sengheng.after almost 2years my laptop got mobo prob n send back to sengheng.they said mobo is not worth it to repair hence they give me a new acer laptop at same price.but mind u that it took me almost 3months for process of sending d laptop to them n to get d new unit

Does anybody have this problem with android market?my android market can enter the "top free" menu normally.but once I click on d "just in" tab,it will forced close.why does this happens?anybody have solution for it?

Is it ori dat s+ for 1490?well,ive already felt dat dis phone is very smooth for me.dunno if I buy more powerful n higher price,wut ill use d tech for.this spec is already no lag n adequate for me.can even load website faster than my laptop.n can play much higher spec game than my laptop.hoho

well,uve came to a thread where we share info if theres doubt.of course people will post up their problems to get feedback.i dont think i need to post everyday to say dat my phone is working fine today.n most of d issues discussed r not dat big.not some hardware failure or something.juz minor issues with gps,wifi etc.afterall we get what we pay for.even hi end phones got minor issues like sgsl have.no phones are perfect.juz d spec higher or lower with one another..

yup,agree with u. what shunryu said is right too.everybody expect to buy things that are perfected upon launching.but android for me is not like dat.they do launch many phone even with some problems which they expect to resolve it sooner or later.dats y they provide customers with updates and fixed aftermarket.

high end phones also got their own issues.galaxy s at their launching has many complaints about lagging,my friends using iphones usually complaint that their iphone may also lag if they do not turn off d phones once in a while.afterall,galaxy sl is never meant to be lauched as a high end phone.and gps locking problem is a usual complaint in this range of phones so far from what ive read and tested.

so far ive no problem with my phone.i can say that it has been working as how i expected from d device.there is minor heat up with my phone battery but it is not a nuisance to me.i just need to clear ram,off wifi n gps n set auto-turn off screen at 15seconds,then it will become ok.i only expect it to not become hot in my pocket as it may really disturbed me if its happen.but so far it only heat up when i on gps n wifi simultaneously.currently i never turn them on together n it has been working fine.n it is not too hot while im playing games on d device.afterall,when ive applied casing on my phone,i can never feel d heat came up again

for hardware problem,better send to samsung center.i dun have any issue with my home button..

So far im able to lock gps.but to get locked in seconds is still unachievable to me.fastest I think so far is about 3-4 minute(based on my experience)

have u tried it?also noticed it recently but dunno can do in galaxy sl or not.bcoz it says there lg optimus 2x...

ok,ive tried this method n it is not working for sure.it changes ur gameloft directory from sdcard/gameloft/games/ to sdcard/_externalsd/gl/

its not working bcoz our samsung phone recognizes external sd card as sdcard/external_sd/ and not sdcard/_externalsd

i think it could be workable if we can change our external sd directory to _externalsd.anybody have any idea on how to change our external sd name?

or else juz wait for somebody to make patch for samsung phone later..

which site r u referring to bro?if this forum,then juz go to the bottom of d page,there is option to view desktop version.in facebook,just go to"more"tab on the upper right screen,choose"desktop site"

price cheaper compared to other dealer.but he uses pos ekspres as default posting method.need to tell him in advance if u prefer other couriers.i dont think sd card will affect performance much.afterall if u not change ur external sd to internal sd,ur external sd will be so much under utilize for a very big capacity card.coz many things in galaxy sl are using internal sd as it main file storage..
