Hmm, anyone having issues with playing videos? some how i can't play MKV files on both my Galaxy SL (same video but works fine on my SGS sweat.gif) No sim card being inserted atm smile.gif ooh, Galaxy SL has slight better battery life due to 1650 compare to 1500 on sgs (and it fits on the SGS just as good too)

need to re-type some of it...

btw, how do you check the battery life (in details ie percentage) other than viewing on battery bar on the home screen.

Galaxy SL stock video player doesn't support mkv files, you can download vplayer or rockplayer from the market to play your mkv files.
SL has better battery but I think it has to compensate the more battery hunger SLCD screen, so I think the battery life for both S and SL is almost similar.

You can try any battery related apps on the market, personally I use Battery Indicator, you can download from here:

I have using SL for almost 1 month, i experience that my LCD always consumes less than 10% of my battery from the stock battery usage indicator. And i feel that the battery life is far different compare to SGS.

That is because you did not install the USB phone drivers ; do it installing KIES or just download and run android sdk

@noswear, it's either kies not install (which had drivers in it) or you dont have the latest WMP installed. It sorta needs some feature from WMP 11 (if not mistaken)for MTP smile.gif
