Everyone can work in SharePoint, the only thing you need to learn first is what is SharePoint and how it works. I have colleague who are working in network joining the SharePoint team, and the most impressive that i found is one of my colleagues who are working in CyberCafe, doing technical job ( repair PC, check network a little bit, etc) joined the SharePoint team.

And now, they improvise them self, on job training, experience with all sort of issue and troubleshoot the issue. No knowledge? google is everyone friends.  biggrin.gif

yep.. Microsoft technologies are the easiest to learn, as MS themselves provided alot of KB, and also forums within MS community

hi guys,

want some of ur opinion.. IT field.

current package: 24 days leave, unlimited medical, 17% EPF , permanent, 2.5 months bonus..

new offer: 48% more salary, no bonus, 12 days leave, standard medical, yearly contract renewable, foreign bank

job scope and level is similiar.
worth taking new offer?? hmm.gif
*
of course the salary is higher for contract job, but it comes with the risk of you losing the job after 1 year if they refuse to renew your contract

when you are over 30 with commitments and so, never leave a permanent job so easily just for the sake of higher salary

do not underestimate the power of "unlimited medical", you won't know when you gonna need it, not many companies willing to provide unlimited medical benefits for employees and their dependents

for long term career growth, permanent position always have advantage than those contract position
