I don't know how but we Malaysian can smell each other from a far. Do you believe it or not, I met someone I knew from the forum when I was in Perth 2 years ago. We stared each other then walk a little bit, then stared again. After that I asked her if she this person, then she also asked me the same thing. Both of us laughed very loud in the middle of the street biggrin.gif

Not so many choice here in Malaysia. So boring. There are plenty of movies/drama/songs I want to buy but they don't sell it here.

Ya lor!! I also feel that we should do our research and browse the thread before ask questions. otherwise it become redundant and people also lazy to answer. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(divasweet_77 @ Jul 20 2011, 08:34 PM)
well it depends on what your interested in.. filming location? scenery?? etc..
you can check 1st page for list of attractions or just browse through this 60 pages worth of infos..
there's a lot of info here and many sifus that can give you tips..
you might want to check out KTO's website HERE.

I'm sure the forumers here would be glad to assist but it would be good for you to make a bit of research that suit your interest and we can give our opinion if it is worth visiting or not..  thumbup.gif

Oh!! ok. I have friends who also crazy about Korea. This Sept going to ber her 6th trip since last year. shocking.gif

Well, I hope that I am not lovesick like dat otherwise I have to take leave very often from the office tongue.gif tongue.gif
But who knows, huh?? I might becoming like u guys. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(divasweet_77 @ Jul 21 2011, 09:29 AM)
not as scarce as a few years back.. but you can always opt for bibimbap or heamuldokkjim (seafood) which look a bit like tom yam or cholpan poggembab a.k.a. nasi goreng..
some shop will sprinkle a bit of bacon on the bibimbap or the soup is a meat base soup..
if you cannot speak korean like me the trick is to ask the guesthouse to write down for you. for example; bibimbap with no meat, etc..
if you're particular about eating then you have to bring meggi lor..

but truthfully.. like you.. i had been abroad quite a bit like Europe and Asia but still I love Seoul very much.. It's the only city that i do not mind going there again and again

Cheap air ticket normally for group. 10 pax and above. Some travel agent allowed u to buy group ticket even though u don't join their tour packages. But some require you to travel with the group if not they won't sell u the group ticket. So shop around which travel agent can offer u the best deal. Maybe u should try with Reliance since they are wholesaler travel agent. Their out bound dept is very big.

QUOTE(dinodog_Jr @ Jul 28 2011, 12:40 PM)
my Korean friend will stay there until end of August. He said he could bring me to places only locals know of. that's sounds tempting. I check air tix is way too expensive during August n September. Haha..

Do u guys think upcoming matt a fair will have cheap fair to SK?
Is there a package only for flight and stay? I reach there and explore by myself...

Thanx. I will search for the tips in this thread when I got time... Too many pages...

I don't think so. Last time the Japan disaster they don't refund but asked to change date or proceed with your original travelling date. U should read the T&C in their booking system. Very small fine line. tongue.gif

I have Korean friend who pronounce lunch as lunchi. Mosque as mosqi. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(lexy @ Aug 2 2011, 07:43 PM)
Hi Miyoko, tutorial on how to recharge t-money is written in here:
http://www.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/TR/TR_EN_5_4.jsp#tmoney

However, I prefer recharging t-money in convenient stores (GS25, 7-11, minostop...). Just tell the shop keeper you want to charge your t-money card. When you pronounce the word "charge" you need to pronounce it as " char-gy", then the shop keeper will understand  smile.gif

You can reach airport by using subway or airport limo bus.

Check the interactive subway map here: http://www.seoulmetro.co.kr/station/eng/linemap.action

Subway will be cheaper, but if you have a lot luggages, take the airport bus is better. Subway cost about 3600 won, while airport bus is 10 000 won.

If you are travelling from Airport, you can use the airport limosine coupon. Print this: http://tourxpress.daum.net/cgi-bin/event/k...sine.cgi?step=2

Note that there is date printed on the coupon, it only valid for one month from the date you printed. Just give this coupon to the bus driver and pay him 9000 Won will do.

According to a friend who works in Seoul, now got new train line to Gapyeong (where Petite France located). No need to take bus anymore. Gyeongchui line or something like that (the name of their new train line to Gapyeong).

QUOTE(NSMLady @ Aug 21 2011, 09:23 PM)
Directions to Petite France: Take a bus for Cheongpyeong Bus Terminal from either Dongseoul Bus Terminal or Sangbong Intercity Bus Terminal. This costs around KW4,000.00 and would take you around 1hour. Then take a shuttle bus from Cheongpyeong Station (around KW900.00). This would take around 20 minutes. Take note of the shuttle bus schedule, if you will not be able to make it to the shuttle bus time, take the cab - it would costs you around KW15,000.00.

Nothing much. 4 hours is very short time. You need at least 90 minutes to take the train to and fro Incheon to Seoul. Plus minus the walking time, no much time left for you to wonder around the city.

QUOTE(WintersuN @ Sep 12 2011, 10:27 AM)
Hi guys,

I will transit at Korea Incheon airport for 4 hrs. Just wondering if I wil have time to do anything during that time other than stay in airport?

So much for cheap airline. I have stop travel with AA already. So cheapskates, save enough money to travel with premier airline. Don't let AA ruin your holiday.
