Wanna share my experience in Seoul (went there for about a week). It was a very 1st trip for me & my friend there.
1st day - arrived around 10pm (local time) at Incheon. We didn't have a place to stay for the night (only book starting next day). Luckily for us we met a Malaysian student at the airport. He brought us to his house in Incheon area.
2nd day - raining in the morning (turns out to be raining every day during my visit

). Then going to check in to our hostel backpackers INSIDE (http://www.backpackersinside.com). Located in Seoul which take 10min walk from Hyehwa station on line 4. I must recommend this hostel for those who want to feel like u are at ur own house. It is a very convenient hostel provided with free wifi, pc to use, tv, kitchen to cook, washing machine and dryer. I choose the cheapest one; the 6-bed dorm. Surprisingly, it is very good room with air-cond and very clean. Then we head to Itaewon to have our 'buka puasa'. There's a mosque up the hill which provide free food for 'buka puasa'. It is very nice indeed as we were joined by Muslim from all over the world. After that, we went to Myeong-dong to 'cuci mata'. Well, a crowded place for shopping but very nice. A lot of boutique you can find here. And to add more for me, I came during their summer sale. Have to control my wallet there

.
3rd day - well, today is just for us to 'jalan-jalan'. Since morning was raining, we only go out around 12pm. Went to places like Gangnam, Cheongyangni.
4th day - went to Nami Island in the morning. Woww, the journey took 2 hours by train to go there

. But nevermind since it is a recommended place to visit (altho I didn't watch Winter Sonata much). Train stop at Gapyeong then took taxi to jetty. Ticket for ferry is KRW8,000. Now is the time to snap a lot of photos hehehe... a nice place with some landmarks from the drama. Walking around this island since bicycle is fully used by others. There is this event when we were there. I dunno for what occasion but kids from China and Korea together to perform on stage. After that, we went back to Itaewon to makan and Myeong-dong again.
5th day - in the morning it is time for a visit to Gyeongbokgung. Well, their historic palace it is. Watch their 'marching' routine (I dunno what it is). Then head to Namdaemun market. To buy some souvenir. There is one seller who can speak Malay

(he said he learn at his univ). It is not that cheap actually if it is converted to our MYR. But still, I have to buy for my friends and family here. Haha... our journey continue to their World Cup stadium. Planning to buy jersey but unfortunately the shop closed when we arrived

. In the night heading back to Incheon (coz we still haven't look around here yet). Stay at the airport for the night and our flight in early in the morning.
6th day - back home to Malaysia
Some notes taken;
- it is a new experience for me as it is a fasting month. Well it is also extremely hard to find halal food except in Itaewon area.
- usage of T-money is very important.
- their subway is very very superb

with the system and everything. Can't imagine 15 lines of train in KL
- it was raining everyday during my visit

had to buy umbrella there and it limits our place to visit also.
- you can change MYR -> KRW at their bank. I got more compare when I change here hahaha... and we had difficulty to withdraw money from ATM. My experience is only Wooribank can do this

.
- didn't manage to visit places like Seoul Tower, Everland, Lotte World etc ... maybe on my next trip
