QUOTE(SSY22 @ Mar 16 2011, 06:27 PM) Same thing here. I cannot get sharp image maybe due to my lens or my skills i dont know.
I use center focus , likely f4 to shoot , but i cannot get sharp images
p/s: shutter speed 1/80-1/250.
I search alot of information in webs, the answer given to me is increase to shutter speed, and narrow the aperture, use the sharpest aperture , use tripod , cable , mirror lock up . (but i am not shooting landscape , i am shooting people and things)
But i still cannot get sharp image, i wonder kit lens can make sharp image or not? Please teach me thanks guy =)

I wish to get sharp image with my 18-55mm , but i still dont know how.

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Mar 16 2011, 06:16 PM) Minimum speed, depends on the lens and situation. You can follow the tumb rule. If you're at 50mm, then minimum is 1/50. For DX, if at 50mm, then it's 1/80. Right guys? I'm a noob too Now for the picture, for me, I'd say yes. Spot-on focusing too anybody else can share the rule for speed?

QUOTE(s6xs9x @ Mar 16 2011, 10:51 PM) anybody else can share the rule for speed? RULE OF SPEED??as share by one of the forumer. 50mm = min 1/50 200mm = min 1/200 but tat depends on alot of individual factors as well to get a sharp image. not only the shutter speed. - What u try to achieve thru tat shutter spd? - R u a shaky hand user? - Do you have "Iron Lung"? - VR lens? - On tripod? - ISO? - Aperture ? - Natural Light? ....etc This post has been edited by daze: Mar 16 2011, 11:03 PM
