Oh, I was in the same situation. I went with 1635 mainly because it is a FX lens. Glad I didn't go with 1750 cause I would have to sell it away now when I've gone up to FX.

In this case, I prefer the f/2.8 over the f/4. But no choice, FX system can pump ISO easily tongue.gif. If on DX a bit cham lor.

Weather sealed. And the 1635 is a Nanocoat, the 1755 is not.

Because to open the lens they need to access the rubber area. I sent my 70200 VRII for warranty, and will probably be getting set of rubber too since they have to open up to access the SWM.

f/2.8 to f/4 is 1 stop (or is it 2/3 stop), so worse case condition is 1/5s. Piece of cake for 1635 VR.

Nope, can do it with just lightroom. It is more than just white balance, you need to deal with curve, level, split toning etc. Its a long list, shortcut go look for presets.
