if u want rexton..i can give u a few contacts
but frankly speaking...it's not a good choice... no offence.. i have a lot of rexton owners want to sell their rexton at a high price...which is not easy to get lolz as for exora...many people say it's underpowered..1.6 with big body |

I'm pelik bcoz i hav 4 frens driving exora, non of them saying about the underpower thing, they only say the 1st few weeks still cant addapt to the engine style, when used to it, it's good n fun to drive...
How to define the power? Do u expect to drive the mpv cilok2 n cucuk2 macam sedan? |

exora is gives a smooth sailing drive if u're just cruising...
driving slowly, turning slowly a number of people says it's underpowered due to 1.6cc not i say... my neighbour is using one..so far so good...not much problems my other neighbour is using alza..also the same..not much problems.. lol... rexton spare parts got but the price is killing being a diesel eater...a lot of parts if need to be replaced can cost u a bomb..this is based on what i've heard from customers... i'm working in an authorized service centre... lolz |

Owned a RX290 Rexton.
Parts isn't that EXPENSIVE if you know where to source from. Even authorized SC is trying to cutting off their customer throat, what more for those outside local spare parts shop?? Been went through overhaul the gearbox by authorized SC for 3 fcking times, end up buying a clutch plate worth RM68 (expensive lah) and got it replace by my own worker in my own workshop.. Been serving me so far so good, at least until now. Fuel consumption wasn't that bad neither, a good full tank could get me at least 550KM, assume that i only drive 20KM away from my living area to my office. Added on March 3, 2011, 7:49 pmAdd ons: By the way, i do not recommend getting a Rexton. As what howie said, good luck with Rexton. I have 2 friend own the same car, same model as mine. One of them do not have any transmission problem like me and another friend of mine do. Good news is, he's clocking almost 350k KM on his Rexton already, he's travel quite a distance weekly (Chemor > KL > Chemor > KL) This post has been edited by victor87: Mar 3 2011, 07:49 PM |

QUOTE(dark^^sora @ Mar 3 2011, 08:03 PM) ermm..how about the handling for rexton?i've already test drive for exora, for me it is good enough..if i want to drive like crazy then should go for sedan and bikin2 itu kereta.. Turning radius is very wide, handling is acceptable, comfort is top notch (at least to me).It really serves well as a SUV, just the older model of Rexton like mine has transmission problem. The newer RX270 has improve their transmission though Added on March 3, 2011, 8:13 pmThe value of the car depreciate alot ! Bought new including interest for like nearly RM203k for 7 year back then, now it's only 40k+ for a used one. This post has been edited by victor87: Mar 3 2011, 08:13 PM |

as Victor said, get the newer version of Rexton if u wan....
is different class though, MPV vs. SUV.....If spare parts is the problem for u, for Rexton, u can ask Victor....he knws alot abt it.... personally, my choice sure is SUV(4WD can go on any terrain)...more future proof, but bare in mind...insurance, tyres and roadtax enuf 2 kill u ald....FC wise, isn't petrol station got diesel subsidy card?? |
