need assistance, last week me on a trip 2 bangkok, suddenly cant get any phone line, no connection/cant call/receive/message, using hotlink prepaid, taught got auto roaming or need 2 setup my phone? tq tq tq very much.

change to other sim card and try....
may be is the sim card problem...
if still cant detect may be is the sim bed problem

pity of this samsung model, even wave 2..

if you look the current trend this is normal,dozen new phone comeout every year...with new tech & features...choice in our hand,either want to stay with current phone or buy new one...

Big deal...there's always new phones every 6 months or so. At least Wave 1/Wave 2 is getting the latest(and last) major upgrade Bada 2.0, which is more than i can say for a lot of phones out there.

My HTC Desire also has long being superseeded by Desire S and now what...Sensation?? Lost track already...

I am updating my wave 1 firmware now, the progress is already 100% for about half an hour but then no message came out. I just want to click on the X button but scared will disrupt the installation. Is it already complete? Y U NO have completed message!

coming soon is Wave 3.. c how Samsung gonna improve the OS....

supposed got message said that it was completed.. so how your phone now? if not ok ,you need to do firmware recovery using kies..then it revert back ure previous firmware..update back if u wanted....

Added on October 11, 2011, 7:38 pmwave 3 will come out with bada 2.0..already tested the beta version...to me a lot of improvement compare to 1.2... hope the full version will got more features...

The update failed. Still left with Bada 1.0.
When it reached 100%, the download failed. While downloading, in the background i can see the kies cannot connect to my phone. Before downloading, it was still connected. It somehow got disconnected during the process. Tried a few times.

I read mysamsung forum and they said:
1. Clear my phone's cache, cookies, history, data - did not work
2. To uninstall the driver in samsung kies, and then re-install it or something. - am working on it

If any of you guys experienced the same problem as i did, kindly advise me.

if step 2 not works, try reinstalled ure kies or try at onother pc...may be got driver conflict and kies are famous with problem and bugs...thats the reason i hate update using kies, using flashing method more easier

Just to inform you guys, a new Bada 2.0 rom has just been released at SamMobile. Going to flash it very soon

Failed again. I guess I have to learn how to flash then. Currently Plants v Zombies is available free on samsung apps. have to update the firmware 1st.

battery life better(for now)
dolphin browser faster
some ui changed
yahoomail still got bug(same from kh3)
apps and game more are working
still not facing phone hang or restart till now (3 days)
keyboard missing prob fix already(kh3)
widget still not all are working
shp works
facebook still laggy

will update with new finding...

any update on bada 2.0 for malaysia? when the official release? is india already got their official one as promised?

Yup, all the above for me as well + The music player can read m4a tags now. For me, what's important is that they fixed the missing keyboard problem (very annoying) and no more random restarts (hopefully). Am also liking the TouchWiz 4 look n feel

Just found out that you can also add contacts to homescreen now. Haha. Don't know if this feature was there in the previous betas.

From what I've read, India is yet to get their official Bada 2.0 update, maybe later this month or early next month. I can assume that we will get the update much later than them and also Europe considering that we were also late in receiving Bada 1.2 update. Then again, I might be wrong

BTW just to share another news. Live wallpaper is official! And the new themes for Bada look really sleek. It's running on a lower-end Bada so I guess it'll run much smoother on our Wave 1 and 2

agreed about the keyboard,very annoying need to restart always..about the contact to homescreen already got with previous beta..also can put internet shortcut at the homescreen (if still dont know )...this beta smoother is on par with bada 1.2...and the big improvement is no more 'not enough memory"

btw: which firmware did you used,original or custom...?

official bada 2.0 : we definitely will received after europe 1st..when? may be 1 or 2 months after wave 3 come out or longer...

Yup, no more 'not enough memory' from my side too

I'm using the official FW. Was interested in the custom FW but a few negative feedbacks held me back

Rumor has it that Official Bada 2.0 is going to be released next month through Kies. Don't know when it's gonna be available for us though.
