oh yea, btw, does the warranty gave by Sony cover damage from lightning strikes too? because the sales person that i bought my console from told me that the warranty doesn't cover damage from lightning strikes, but another guy told me that it covers it... i'm kinda confuse...

struck by lightning will void the warranty , in other words no more warranty ( this apply almost all kind electronics stuff ) , yet the service centre still accept it for repair but you have to pay for the parts and labour charges

Hi All PS3 bro,
I am xbox kaki. I planned to buy 1 used PS3 but it is cracked/unlock.

But selling cheap, just wanted to know that is it possible to re-cracked it to become original and online?

I wanted to play online instead of becoming an Atari game set.

Hi. Anyone facing this problem?

Cannot Start. The Correct Hard Disk Was Not Found

When it Occured : Was playing Dragon Age II when the game hang, and I did a reset. After reset, the error message came out yesterday around 1 am.

What has done so far : I've looked at a few websites, and all ask to do soft reset and enter Bios. However, following the instructions, I can't even get into the Bios, and the error message keeps appearing.

PS3 Specs :
1. PS3 Slim - Latest Firmware (3.65 I think)
2. 500 HDD Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drive (bought about 6 months ago) - 60% filled.

Other Notes : A few games hang on my PS3 happened before (Dragon Age II, Assassin's Creed (both II & Brotherhood), normally around 1-2 times after about 50+ hours of play).

Anyone who experience this, appreciate to share what you did. I have tons of saves and if I had to reformat the drive, would like to recover them first.

i have changed my old hard disk to Seagate Momentus XT 500GB last week. currently all working well. but what scares me is after reading terryfu posts and making some web search on the net, stating that there is lot of issues with this specific hard disk. sweat.gif
hopefully i wont be the one next and praying that it was some rare instances.
