Seems like many are reporting bugs and instability issue with Juwe Gingerbread ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=964672 I am tempted to try, especially the hardware accelerated browser, but considering that Gingerbread is not that stable yet, might as well wait another 2 weeks.... |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Mar 7 2011, 11:20 PM) Apparently not, based on the reply Juwe dev gave me. That is also the reason why he cannot incorporate Gingerbread browser into android 2.2.1 because Gingerbread browser is hardware accelerated. It is simply not compatible in Froyo base ROM. |

QUOTE(Bap3 @ Mar 8 2011, 10:41 AM) cache cleaner NG apps...but how can he install when he cannot even install other apps...only left cwm I think he still can install, but maybe most times got stuck at installing only. Usually android system will clear the cache memory automatically but when we install apps faster than the system can auto clean, then this problem happens. |

QUOTE(dejima @ Mar 8 2011, 06:28 PM) Hey guys~ What changes? You just flash over darky9.3?I just tried this, so far i can feel that it did improve the smoothness. No lag at all, and the responsiveness is better! By the way i'm using darky 9.3 Looks like this tweak is not recommended for simply 2.4 ROM. I've tried on my Simply 2.4 ROM.....and immediately reverted to previous files! The phone is became laggish with these bin files, and I've had low fps on Quadrant Benchmark.....from 1400 pts by stock (w EXT4) to 980 pts with your files.... Froyo 2.2.1 system files are better.....for me! This post has been edited by lch78: Mar 8 2011, 06:26 PM |

QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Mar 9 2011, 12:07 AM) I expected more from tegra2. For my needs, galaxy s is still good. Not worth the upgrade because I wanted real processing power surpassing core2duo. Kal-el chips may tempt me. So you are going for Tegra2 instead of Exynos... IMO, Tegra2 is the better choice. It will have more official and un-official support since there are many other devices also using Tegra2 chipset. |

I can confirm that when you simulate other Carriers using market enabler, your phone becomes laggy (Open sms, emails, etc takes a few sec of black screen, even scrolling between screen is not smooth). Now that I re-booted and it becomes smooth and fast again on my Simply SweetHoney ROM. |

QUOTE(Bap3 @ Mar 9 2011, 05:42 PM) I am on 2.4.1 update thru the small package. I thought zsjpe modem is standard in 2.4 ROM? 2.4.1 only a small update on the notification bar, wifi codes touch up and squash some bugs, if I remember correctly. |
