Yeah, planned to buy physical for long term, paper for medium term.
Do you know why the maybank site is showing 1oz of kijang emas is 31.105g? Because 1oz should be 28.35g.

Because its TROY ounce, not the ordinary ounce thumbup.gif

30K must be a malay reserve land is it. Non-malay reserve land start at around 50K /acre.

Ya la bro. But if try harder, like house, maybe you can get freehold at a good bargain.. icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(kuhfayLover @ Jun 21 2011, 02:11 PM)
No matter i buy physical or paper gold, the lowest spread value doesn't maintain as it is after years later.
Let say if i buy kijang emas today at rm4968, which is around 3.9% of the spread value.
How do we ensure that a year later, the different of selling and buying price still at 3.9%?
Because i remembered when i start buying paper gold from maybank last year, it was only rm4 difference between buying and selling price, but it is around rm6 today already.

I think no body can guarantee since we are doing free trade. I remember few years back, UOB spread was only about 1.8% to 2% but now had increased to almost 4%. The best thing is sell direct to individual and both of you can negotiate the spread.

Just a small agri land, about 1.25 acre, at a corner of a jungle at Malacca. No money to buy land at Selangor or KL....

The price about RM30k and market price should be around RM45k  and above. ( even though my friend said he can get buyer to buy at RM60k).

Plan to build a small house to raise our children. Stay at kampung, save a lot. Somemore can grow cili padi and use motorcycle without helmet.....hehehe...... biggrin.gif

Where is your land, how much? Wow.... goldchan now expanding his portfolio, congrat...! thumbup.gif

wow you buy land at a jungle? going to built own Mvillage?
then how do you wanna get those fuel for your motorcycle? I think better use buffalo cart..no petrol used tongue.gif

am also planning to migrate to those hulu area with water source..but I guess that probably around 5years+ from now..

Just share with us how much $$ U spend to clear the land + basic infra b4 U can start planting anything.
U may need to get someone to drill a well, starting price 5-10K/hole for water irrigation. quite common in melaka as it is a dry place.

well for Non-bumi the price may start at 60 - 100K/acre. That is at least 14 oz of gold per acre. U R luck man.
normally people won;t sell small2 land. one small piece already 5-10 acres. At least 300K, tak boleh tahan lah. Then add the clearing infra etc..
maybe we need to move to another thread on land, just don;t know which thread.

Yup.. Gold is dropping now. It's expected to have one more bottom before the train leaves for 2011.

Keep your eyes peeled out for a lower price in the next few days/weeks before July is over yeah.

the retracement from all time high early May11 still not finish..
the trend still ranging and going to complete wave c down before testing previous high.
still long way to go..but I am expecting the gold may test 2000 point this year. If they manage to penetrate that level late2011 or early 2012 then say bye bye to USD smile.gif

applying wave theory that I learn since 2005..

foresee 1450 earlier next week or delayed til mid of july.. take 1410 as a support, potential will go USD1700 this year end. Do not be panic and rush into the market. There are opportunity everyday. Best wishes!
