BTW carbman, you may want to consider this brush. Olive wood is one of the most charismatic of woods.

I can't stand the BIC. Going back to Feather ASAP.

They seem to not ship to Malaysia. Anyway, a friend has been racunned to start wetshaving, so I've ordered him a DE razor and a kilo of that italian shave soap. Ooohh....can't wait.

Hey guys, is this good enough?

I prefer something that I could brought in Penang (Since Crabtree got a branch in Penang). So I don't need to depend too much on online transaction.

Or this, since my wife shop in this outlet a lot.

MAS hands out l'occitane toiletries for delayed baggage. Happened to me once. The cade shave cream doest lather at all. Not meant to, i guess, since its a travel pack. The c&e is better, but honestly the best shave cream i've tested that's sold locally is the maca root stuff from bodyshop. C&e's brush is ok, though.

Added on October 19, 2011, 10:12 amFound something from Singapore. Delivery should be faster than Amazon or Ebay.

Looks like they have a fair selection of blades....but I can't say the same about the razors, soaps or brushes. U be the specimen and try lah.

Anyway, speaking about delivery speed, my friend's EJ DE razor arrived today after only 7 days! I'm thinking aloud, but perhaps the customs people are already seeing the packages as 'same-seller, same-items, same receipient', and let them pass thru quickly.

Anyway, I also made an order for myself in the package, based on Kotmj's racunning. It looks something like this:

I chickened out before getting the 1kg version, and decided to try the small pack first. The 1kg version:

Will shave tonight.

BTW, Derby blades blow. As in suck. Moving on to the others in the sampler pack.

Just a question.

Do you guys get BBS every shave?

I have a hard time try to get BBS on my neck. Always end up getting nicks.

P/S : Using EJ with BIC
And between, any of you guys using Alum block? Or better recommendation?
*
Its possible, but harder with the BICs. Try Feathers. If you get nicks, either you're applying too much pressure, shaving too aggressively, or not rpepping properly. I get an average of 1 nick a week.

Best aftershave I've used is Nivea's and Bodyshop's maca root.

The new shaving soap is AWESOME! Gave me the most dense lather ever. Will probably buy the 1kg pack.

I keep wanting to do it, it is not expensive, but I keep dragging my feet.

Shipping for the kilo pack is a killer, though. The soap has a consistency of a very, very dense putty. Very easy to lather. I keep dragging my feet when it comes to silvertip badger brushes.
