And I'm soooo glad to meet all of you here.. since all of you have had a very nice and very2 informative discussion here regarding denim/jeans. Just came back from Midvalley during lunch time. Went into a Wrangler outlet over there and was pleased to see some selvedge denims being brought. I manage to see two of them, one is European made (dunno where) selvedge but pre washed. Retails at RM699. the other was something that made me excited. it was a raw selvedge denim. green line. Made in Turkey. this one retails at RM499 IINM. One thing nice about it, you'll get a box together with your jeans! some nice novelty there. Got another interesting tid bit. I asked the sales guy when the MIA blue bell line is coming in. He said it'll be mid year, probably June or July. |

I just noticed the Momotaro prices in Take5 Bangkok is really high as compared to other sources. Most of the other places' price are around RM900-1k for one but Take5's pricing are around 1.2-1.3k. That really sucks coz I was looking forward to my Bangkok trip in a couple of days.

Yeah I'm just annoyed because Blueowl has cheaper pricing than Take5 even tough they're at US/Canada. Thought shipments to Asia would've been cheaper from Take5. Oh well, maybe Blueowl has better connections with the dudes at Momotaro and managed to snap some better bulk pricings.

For LVC, the only place I've ever seen them in stores here is at Garden's Levi's store. Some decent selections, but the price are around RM999. There was a particular design that was eye catching. a collab with one japanese designer, hence MIJ. left hand twill and half selvedge. Some thing you can buy if you want to be unique. So if i see an Indonesian embassy worker wearing killer denims, it must be you. hahahaha, if on weekdays u come cant see any staff wearing denim |

Make full use of the good exchange rates that we have against the US dollars now if you plan to buy from Blue Owl (plus they offer free shippings for purchase above 200 dollars).Added on May 7, 2012, 6:42 pm QUOTE(satar @ May 7 2012, 06:38 PM) i think i've read somewhere else over the internet, if you became take5 members, than you will get 20% discount.not sure about the membership fees..correct me if i'm wrong that is if you purchase more than HK$3000 at their store, then you get to become a member free for a year. This post has been edited by 71ers: May 7 2012, 06:42 PM |
