Gilead Announces 96-Week Results From Phase 3 Study of Biktarvy for the Treatment of HIV-1 in Adults New to HIV Therapy. The data were presented during a late-breaking abstract session at the 2018 HIV Glasgow conference in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

Gilead Sciences, Inc. today announced 96-week results from a Phase 3, randomized, double-blinded study evaluating the safety and efficacy of Biktarvy. for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in treatment-naïve adults. In the ongoing study, Biktarvy was found to be statistically non-inferior to a regimen of dolutegravir and emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (50 mg) through 96 weeks of therapy.

“This study demonstrated the high efficacy, high barrier to resistance and long-term tolerability profile of Biktarvy through 96 weeks, reaffirming its role as a first-line treatment option for appropriate adult HIV patients who are starting therapy,” said Hans-Jürgen Stellbrink, MD, PhD, Professor of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, at the University of Hamburg, Germany and lead study author.

I feel moist down there, you will feel some discharge and urge of something downstair, worse come to worse u can sense the smell, start with minor pain also sometimes.

Hello guys good morning. Where can get STD TEST with reasonable price and also clinic that provide medication if detected.
Main std test for hiv, herpes, hepatitis a&b, ghonorea, chylamdia, vdrl and syphilis.
Doing at PATHLAB or BP , do they provide any medicine if detected anything ?
Normal clinic they do test, they send to labs also definitely price higher compare doing directly at labs.
Normal clinic will provide any medication if detected ?

Or only STD clinics have std medicines ?

Now i have choice but not sure what to do .
1. Do blood test at labs
2. Do blood test at normal clinic
3. Or visit std clinic.

BP LAB doing std test package rm200 includes below.
STD Profile II,HSV I IgG,HSV II IgG,Chlamydia Tra
Ghonorea test is additional price tested via urine . They have doctor to consult maybe doctor prescribe where to go.



There is one std clinic at bangsar south, charge rm260 for std test not including ghonorea. They provide medications.Heard this clinic not user friendly just concern about money.

There is another clinic drtan&partners. They provide anonymous hiv test and std screening located at kl ecocity. No idea about the prices yet. Looks like they give medication for treatment.

What you guys opinion. We do test at labs and provide that result at normal clinics or std clinics to take medication would they entertain you and if yes the medication prices will be high ? Since we never walk in direct to them for testing do they will ask us to retest again at their clinic ?

If only test without medicine, RM435 consider expensive, u can get test from BP Lab or other lab within RM300.

If this included medicine, then its fine.

Clinics Opinion:
1) Klinik Bangsar South is not recommended. I think they really put some effort on promoting here and there, so in this blog or other place u always heard of this clinic whenever u come to STD topic. However, based on my experience, i do agreed with someone said earlier here or other blog, they giv me the feeling that they only focus on earning money more in my opinion. Its not like they not friendly but when u talk to doctor u will know their way of talking is not really caring but “business”. I cant see the “caring” part from the doctor eyes throughout the whole conversation at all. Why i said so, see below 2)

2) Pantai Hospital KL good and expensive (pantai u know), I seek for a doctor with dermatologist title, i didnt meant to seek for dermatologist at first but they route me to this when i mentioned my problem down there. Anyway, this doctor very good , this is what u can tell throughout the whole visit experience, when u talk with the doctor , u feel she is caring , really , and try to sort out the problem together with u and support. And i also recovered after the visit. I claimed to be a very strict and serious person, trust me, u will know if the doctor is caring is real with heart or is just “working”.

3) Dr Tan & Partner KL ECO CITY, never tried before. I knew this by googled 1 year ago and it was new that time. It seems like expensive. I don know i just thought since its expensive also then i straight go Pantai , at least its well fine big hospital with long developed already. If anyone had experienced this clinic before , do share and let me know too anyway.

Extra: whether u shud do lab test first before go to clinic for medicine consultation (assumed u hav price concern), i think the clinic will accept ur lab test report outside, promised the lab test was not too long ago, better immediately or asap for accurate analysis from the doctor in the visited clinic. Make sense right. If its not price concern, just go for clinic first then follow every instruction later for a A-Z treatment. It is diff but Basically the price wudnt be much diff.

For BP lab, it's just blood test for their STD package (no swabs)? Urine test is just for gonorrhoea?

can anyone know the way to cure or treat the Chlamydia conjunctivitis or trachoma?

How and where did you diagnosed it? Is it via swab on the lesion or IGg blood test?

Have you spoken to your doc? Are you on daily antivirals?
