Well this is definitely 1 for the book.  thumbup.gif . OCD...who would have thought that dream of being pregnant can be soo bad. HAHAHA.
I do agree, hope that she have everything under control.
5 kit and still want to go to the doctor..if the doctor proof positive...then salute that person's sperm la...can last through the harsh journey.  icon_rolleyes.gif
well anyhow, next time get ur fren to read this post. she can learn alot from it. And the guy  whistling.gif ... to be more careful...

learn safe methods such as, condoms, birth control pills or even ovulation calendar. ECP must and should alwiz be the last resort.
*
well the result came out and her HCG level is less than 2. LOL.

so no, she is not pregnant.

hence, ECP can ruin your cycle.

agree with what black_howling said.
ECP must and should always be the last resort.

Yes, ECP is emergency for a reason. It will mess up our hormones and cycle. That's true. smile.gif

Yes it does take a lot of sperm to reach the egg. But you won't know how strong your sperm is, unless you have done a test.

Hence, we can't really say 'a little insertion or maybe a little wetness' (I don't really get it btw) will not make her pregnant. It is possible that she will get pregnant.

Her period is late for over a week? This is something you should really be worried about if you had ejaculated inside her without a condom on.
Is she under any stress? Has she fell ill in the past week? Is her period cycle irregular?
When did you have this particular intercourse with her? Was she fertile? What exactly happen? Is this her first time having sex?

And also, taking morning after pills more than 5 days after intercourse will not be effective. In fact, it will affect the developing embryo.

When you said a little wetness, did it mean that it was precum? Precum usually contains sperms as well. but anyhow, it takes alot of sperm to really fertilize the eggs.
that is why we guys shoot out in the millions. 3/4 of them are just in for the run... thumbup.gif

Well technically the ECP will not allow the egg to implant itself onto the uterus walls. But tat is why ECP needs to be taken within 24hrs or 72 the max.
Once the egg has implanted itself onto the wall, there is no point of taking the pills. It is not like it will make the egg fall off. tongue.gif

So as munkeyflo asked, "Is she under any stress? Has she fell ill in the past week? Is her period cycle irregular?"
These can be factors for period being late.

hey guys.. wanna ask, is it common that there would be very light bleeding after taking the pill?? i wouldnt say exactly its period since too little to be counted so.. its like seeing blood stain on pantyliner, few mm width and few mm long..

the pill is taken after 1 week period ends.. its been 2 weeks after taken the pill, no period yet.. normal cycle of period suppose to be in 1 week time.. the pill taken within 24 hours..

did not ejaculate inside as had coitus for bout 10 sec only and pull out due to fear.. taken the pill as precaution.. so by statistic, shouldn't be pregnant right? since the chances of precum to get pregnant is already so small, plus ECP to reduce the chance.. i read that during implantation, there would be small spots of blood, is it true? and how long does the blood will continue to flow?

To answer your questions:

Yes, there might be bleeding after taking the pill. (Does not apply to everyone)

Yes, there is a high change you won't get pregnant if you add up "not ejaculating inside" and "consuming ECP". However, she might be on her fertile period since you say sex was done 1 week after period end, high chance fertile period. So if the sperm is strong, plus she fertile, plus if you had sperm in precum (which is highly unlikely if you had peed before sex, unless you had a previous ejaculation before this), then there is a slight chance of being pregnant.

Yes, during implantation, some women experience slight bleeding. This is call Implantation Bleeding, google it. (Again, does not apply to everyone)
Usually implantation bleeding is very little, just light spotting only. However, again, some women experience different thing.

If you've read this thread, few post before. I've said something like this before:
Once you take Postinor2 (I don't know about other types of ECP), most of the time, there will be some slight/heavy bleeding and the menstrual cycle will then start again from day 1 when the bleeding starts. This means that the menstrual cycle has been reset to day 1 and you will need another ~28 days or so to get your usual period back (Again, different people different). Heavy bleeding or not may depend on when you took the ECP, which part are you at in your menstrual cycle. If you just finish your period, don't expect to have a lot of blood coming out after taking ECP.

Sometimes, there's no bleeding, and sometimes there's lots of bleeding. All these are normal and every individual experience differently. Heck, it's not even the same experience even single time I took Postinor2. doh.gif

Thanks for the prompt reply..

Yea, i couldn't really differentiate light spotting vs slight bleeding.. So hoping that someone can tell roughly how big spot is implantation bleeding.. Im scared it due to hormonal imbalance or overdose of ECP.. since its the 2nd time taking.. 1 month apart.. is it overdosing? same brand Escapelle.. 1st time was just normal as period came at expected day, plus minus 1-2 days.. So now having a totally different experience.. think this would be the last time using ECP, too many fear factors..

on a lighter note, if with such scenario and still get pregnant, i should send the kid to olympics.. strong swimmer/runner, if you get what i mean.. and hardcore survival..

It's really hard to confirm that what you experience is implantation bleeding or just the light spotting from the effects of ECP since there's not much info to compare about this online. Different people experience different amount of implantation bleeding also. And most of the women don't even experience it at all.

Your hormones are probably not balanced out yet now, due to the ECP. Just give it a few more weeks and it'll go back to normal.

I don't think it's overdose but I would also stay away from ECP as much as possible unless really needed. Stick to condoms and other forms of BC.

I've experience bleeding for over 2 weeks after consuming ECP, and also no effect (like what you experience during your 1st ECP), and also period 2 days after consuming BCP, light bleeding for a day, all sorts. I've asked pharmacists and my gynae about it and they say it's normal, different people react to it differently. smile.gif

And I don't get what you mean on the hardcore survival thing. tongue.gif

Well implantation bleeding as how munkeyflo said, doesn't happen to everyone and to some ladies it is considered as spotting. But if you are really worried, then you can do a quick pregnancy test and see if all is fine.

For sure ECP will cause the hormonal imbalance. But then if you followed the instructions on consuming the ECP within the 24hrs windows to be safe, then you should be fine. Read the previous thread to learn more about how ECP works.

The experience will be different everytime you consume ECP. so you just have to be more cautious when your making out.

Well if you do get pregnant, i would agree tat it was hardcore survival la.

It's only an hour difference. Shouldn't have any problems with it. Some take 2 pills at one time also work.

If I were your friend (or you), I wouldn't worry too much. smile.gif

From my Google search, I found out Bonine was mentioned by name in this thread. I'm looking for Bonine for my diving course in Australia next month.

Anybody here know where can I buy two or three packs of Bonine around KL? I checked several pharmacies and unfortunately they didn't have it.

Please name me one or two pharmacies around KL with Bonine in their store :-)

Your main purpose is to get motion sickness pills?
Why not you just go to the pharmacist and ask for motion sickness pills, there are many types available. Not all types of drugs are sold in local pharmacies.

And since you'll be going to Australia, you can always pay a visit to their pharmacies there and get Bonine. I'm sure they have a wider range of drugs there.

Also, unless you'll be on the boat that is not moving for quite some time, you don't really need the motion sickness pill. Diving usually will not make you get motion sickness. smile.gif One tip is to look far away at the horizon.
Still, you know your body best. Have fun diving. smile.gif
