^Hey, if you're talking about Postinor2, it does induce period to come after consuming it. However, different people different reaction.

If the girl has been taking Postinor2/morning after pills, it's obvious that the hormones level are messed up. So the period is not regular anymore, it doesn't follow the usual menstrual cycle anymore.

In short, I would say it's normal to have irregular periods for quite some time if one is taking morning after pills.

However, to adhere to credibility of your information. It is better if you included some actual health article reference for it.

Be it the article is not from Wikipedia. It is recommended from an actual health care website that adhere to HONcode.

At least it will help the other readers to know more as well.

Most of the information that is obtained is either from personal experience or from reading articles and pharmaceutical review. brows.gif

I would say most of those type of information are easily available with just a click on Google search.
Forum would be a place where we can discuss our own personal experiences as everyone have different reactions to different things. We're not writing a journal article to be published here. smile.gif

guys, is it okay if my gf take Postinor 2 after her period ? she accidentally took 2 pills at the same time instead of 1 after 12 hours. cry.gif
she took it on wednesday.
until today(saturday) she still not period. help

I think it's possible to take another dosage of postinor2, this time read the instructions properly.
I wouldn't recommend it though.

If she doesn't have her period, doesn't mean it's not effective. <- how many times do I need to repeat this. doh.gif
Different people react differently to the pills. She just had her period, so no blood lining in the uterus edi, what are you expecting her uterus to shed? She might have some light bleeding, but this is might only. Best way is to wait for her next period, or do a pregnancy test roughly after 4 weeks from now or so. smile.gif

I dont know as I don't live there. Try going to pharmacies and ask for it. I'm sure there are pharmacies there right? Over here in WM, it's only sold in pharmacies and have to get from the pharmacist, not on the shelves wan.

well postinor 2 can be taken if you missed on the dosage but then you need to repeat the whole cycle again.

Guys, if you want to misfire, do understand how a women's body work. It is no rocket science but then it just need some understanding.
They have fertile and non fertile periods..and not every one have the same cycle. So even after her period is over, you need to understand that your little army can live in the body for 3 -5 days depending on her cervical fluid and how healthy ur army are.

Postinor doesn't stop the process of fertilization. but it stops the ovum from planting itself onto the cervical walls. So if your gf doesn't have any period, doesn't mean it didn't work. If you are really worried, and you have a high libido drive, then take birth control pills then. It saves your time worrying about all this.

the egg should not be in uterus anymore after menses, am i right? the day after period ended to roughly day 13-15 is non-fertile period (well to make it safe day 10 smile.gif its just a rough estimate). if sexual intercourse happen in the period the pills are not needed unless the couple wants to ohm ohm all the time. It is only required after she ovulated (2 weeks after menses) and till before her menses come.

mate dont understand you here. menses is when the blood is flow out and etc...so for sure the eggs are not there already. icon_rolleyes.gif
wat do you mean after the period ended there is a roughly 13 - 15 days of non-fertile period?? rclxub.gif we are talking about human cycle here ah...not some animals ah. tongue.gif

after the period ended there is roughly 2 - 3 safe days..after which you should refrain from unprotected intercourse. Fertility usually or normally happens 6 - 7 days after the period ended. Giving the nature of sperm, under these ideal conditon, it could live for 3 - 7 days. So that is why you stop after 2 days..
The Fertility period last for about 7 - 8 days.
2 weeks after the menses is also the safe period..but it is always best to give 15 - 18 days after menses to have free sex.

Again, this is all depending on the ladies, different ladies have different clock works. Some of them have a predictable menses cycle, and you can use an ovulation calendar to monitor her fertile and non fertile period. Others their menses cycle is totally unpredictable. So before you want to use the ovulation calendar, it will be best to monitor her period cycle for 2 months. Wear a dom dom during these period.

It's better to play safe. Not every woman has a stable menstrual cycle. Most of us are still very unstable. Even though the egg is only able to survive for a day, the sperm can survive for 3 days. So if you wanna base your contraceptive methods on menstrual cycle, stay away from sex about the 10th day to 17th day or so.

Again, every woman is different, we can get pregnant even if we are having our period.

The pill here is for emergency usage and not everyone is certain about their menstrual cycle. Many of us females are still very ignorant about body changes and when we ovulate. Hence, the emergency pill..
