i realise dis is ridiculously foolish of me but i just have to ask....

i had unprotected sex on august 10th. i kno morning after pills are recommended to be taken within 72 hours of having sex, so if I decide to take them now (which is like, what, one week after the incident...) is there even a point? do these pills only work if you take it within the 72 hours? any advice on dis matter is much appreciated!

It is too late to take the pills. The maximum is 5 days, which is unlicensed use (the pill is only licensed for 72 hours).

However, you could consider another method which is IUCD (Intra-uterine contraceptive device). It can also be used as emergency contraception. Maximum time is 5 days AFTER your supposedly ovulation day (not 3 days AFTER sexual intercourse for the pill). Ask your doctor about this as you may still be in time to use it. However, your menses need to be regular and it is preferable to be used by those who had childbirth before.

Gosh, poor guy. You must be freaking out by now. Well I have been through the same thing before. Lesson is, do not have unprotected sex. Not worth it, i have so many friends who end up getting married at a very young age because of 3 min satisfaction.

Guys, need advice here, few weeks ago, i had intercouse with my gf, its protected, however, my gf said she has this 'Tender, swollen breasts' symptom.
The next day i googled around, some said that its just sign of growth, cause still in young age (20 y.o).

But i still worried cause the other side said that is pregnancy symptom which can come as early as 1-2 weeks after intercouse.

How True are these both.. please help.. cant eat cant sleep cant work right now..

Well if you got "excited" in her just after her period is over, then you are still safe. You will be in the "safe" zone for the first day or first 2 days.
So i would say good job. She will not get pregnant and chances are low.

If you are worried, go online and google for Ovulation Calendar. It will teach you about the women's ovulation cycle and how it works. If you want to shoot, you need to learn how to shoot wisely.

If you plan to have unsafe sex after the 3rd day, then be wise and careful. The pills you can get is Postinor 2. It is obtainable in Pharmacy that has a on call pharmacist there. The meds are prescribed meds and not obtained over the normal counters. But a word of caution, try not to use the meds as it will be unhealthy for your lady. It will cause her menstration to be irregular.

Bcuz i only heard from a couple of friends that if before the period of 3 days after her mensturation u can shoot bullseye bcuz chances of pregnancy are only 2%. but what i heard from the net that sperm can last for 7 days in the girls body so i was confused. By the way, you were the 4th person who said nothing is gonna happend. You made my day. Bcuz i was having a hard sleep and keep on thinking "what if shes pregnant OMG OMG OMG!!!" in my head. well i would advice you to keep it within the first 2 days as sperm has a life span of 3 - 7 days. It depends on several conditions that will determine the life span of the sperm. Only at optimum condition the sperm would be able to live for up to 6 -7 days.

i have a question. My gf took postinor 2 pill on the 16th January 2010.
But until today 23rd January 2010, she hasn't bleed.
Is it a must to bleed after consuming Postinor 2 pill?

Did you follow the instruction on consuming the pills? 12hrs interval.
When is ur GF's cycle due?

Well you have to understand that postinor 2 does not work overnite. It takes time to process in the body and release the hormons and then trigger the period for ur gf.
So it should come some where this week. if you are really worried, get her to consume pineapple juice. it will help as well.

Chill mate....and most importantly DO NOT STRESS her with this issue. let her know that it is fine and it will be ok. the more stress she have the longer it will take.
