I really cannot make a decision for you, but if there isn't any fundamental problem with a stock, I would hold and if I have cash , I might average down.

they said ytlland hav lands which will be use 4 mrt rite?

YTLLAND for long term...K la
Shouldn't have problem. The whole YTL family is holding the share.
Big brother have to make sure it don't go kaput.
New year is the payout day ... To maximize the profit for this type of share you have to collect low.
This is also one of the few counter that is quite safe to average down.
When you mentioned that some one said that it can go to 1.20 , I think he can be right in fact I think it can also go much lower may be at around 1.00.
Good luck

Mother shares or so called underlying stocks okay (at least 4 me la) bcoz price fluctuate from time to time & worse case scenario, we can bcome super long term investors LOL laugh.gif

Because of the high leverage in warrant I think ... hold ..shouldn't be in your strategy in the first place.
My warrant strategy is look for momentum .. get in and when the momentum stop .. get out.
I don't like warrant as the timing is very critical.

k.. If you have enough fund .. just average down after it hit the bottom.
If not I will cash out first and wait later to pick up again...

warrant has leverage. Better in bull market. in bear, or bearish market, not good. may even slice your throat.

Many warrants that was previously trading on premium, now dropping like hell. Case in point, my ex lover, sp setia-wb. highest 2.4+, now 1.4. look yummy if compared to previous high, but not so yummy if u believe that it may have more room to fall further, esp after 14 march (ex date for interim divvy sp setia).

if not mistaken, gamuda wd expire in 2 years. if u think the mother share will rise up, maybe can hold. if not, swallow ur pride, and sell.

Buy more to lower the average price
Say that you have 1000 at 1.80
when the price drop to say 1.00
you buy 3000 more at 1.00
than your total cost for 4000 will be 4800 and average price will be 1.20 ( down from 1.80)

one more thing, if u hold mother share, (provided it is fundamentally sound, and giving divvy) no matter what the price is, u can get to collect the divvy

Average is a good idea, but be cautious when to average down, in a weak market like this, it is very hard to determine when is the bottom.

My view is that it is time to average down when the price is hanging around a certain price range.

Just my opinion.
