YES. Never need to use it ; also never even think of ever using it. Too big-lah holding it up to take shots.
I use the TAB as a tablet only - email, browser, Tweets, Newsfeed, light edits office work, watch youtube, audio book, ebook reader . Once a while SMS ; calls tried few times only when new. I tested the audio, GPS, bluetooth - all OK

My main line is on another phone. If I put the mainline line on the TAB - all my calls diverted to another small phone , a old Nokia

News For video enthusuasiasts

Great news for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S2 owners! It has been confirmed that these 2 devices will get the TwinView technology or the ability to stream TV contents. Plus it offers the dual-screen streaming functionality via Samsung remote which is its second TV Smart Touch TV remote. This big plus technology would be available for those who bought the D8000 or D7000 range of televisions. These information were announced at CES 2011.

At the Mobile World Congress during the launching of their Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung also gave some indications that this technology will also be made available to other devices. Russell Owens, General Manager at CTV & AV marketing, said that the service will be only for just the two mentioned devices as for now. He said “At the moment, from a technology point of view, we can confirm that it will be for the Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy S2. The Android app should be out in March and it will offer the same functionality as the upcoming Second TV remote.”

A nice feature of this app is that it allows you to show two screens/TV channels on a Samsung mobile device. Mr. Owen added that there was a slight delay on the availability of the Smart Touch Control TV remote, which was initially decided to go with the D8000 series. It will now be as a bundled accessory after D8000 is launched.

Samsung sees iPad 2's thinness, price as challenges
By Lee Youkyung

SEOUL, March 4 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co., the world's second-largest maker of mobile phones, sees the slim design and competitive price of Apple Inc.'s new iPad 2 as its biggest obstacles, a senior official said Friday.

Apple unveiled the latest generation of the iPad tablet computer this week, touted by its chief executive officer Steve Jobs as "dramatically thinner" than its previous model.

The iPad 2 is one-third slimmer than its predecessor at 8.8 millimeters, compared with Samsung's latest 10.9-millimeter tablet computer announced last month.

Lee Don-joo, executive vice president of Samsung's mobile division, said that Apple has presented new challenges for the South Korean company with a thinner mobile gadget that is priced the same as its predecessor.

"We will have to improve the parts that are inadequate," Lee told Yonhap News Agency. "Apple made it very thin."

Samsung also made its latest Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet computer larger, faster and thinner than the 7-inch original Galaxy Tab. But the new, larger screen comes at a price.

The 7-inch Galaxy Tab was priced at nearly US$900 without a two-year contract from mobile operators, while the price of the iPad 2 starts at $499, with the most expensive model costing $829. Samsung did not announce the pricing details for the 10.1-inch tablet.

"The 10-inch (tablet) was to be priced higher than the 7-inch (tablet) but we will have to think that over," Lee added.

Samsung, which was one of the companies singled out by Jobs as competitors making "copycat" products, sold 2 million Galaxy Tab tablet computers during the four months since October 2010. Apple sold 15 million iPads in the April-December period.

Looks like there will be a " back to the drawing board" for the Tab 10.1. If Samsung were to release this in the market, the immediate action must be to reduce the price to be drastically lower than ipad2
In the words of Steve Jobs in his last press conference - this tablet will be be another D.O.A

Haihz Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 --- Dead before Arrival. Haihz sos: http://m.gizmodo.com//5776692/samsung-chie...-101-inadequate. ----------------------------------Samsung's mobile VP Lee Don-Joo has taken a look at the iPad 2 and decided that his own Galaxy Tab 10.1 isn't up to scratch. Speaking to the Korean Yonhap news agency, he said that "We will have to improve the parts that are inadequate."

Further, Samsung was planning on selling the ten-inch Tab for more than the seven-incher, but that too has changed. "[W]e will have to think that over," said Lee.

When I tried out the Tab 10.1 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, I found it to be a "a plastic toy with a gorgeous screen." All of its "superior" specs turned out to be squeezed in simply so they could be marked off on a feature checklist. The camera is terrible, the Android Honeycomb OS feels like an old timey desktop OS, and the plastic body may make it light, but it also makes it feel cheap. Obviously Samsung was building down to a price.

Now that the iPad 2 has slimmed down and added cameras and a faster, dual-core processor, even those hardware differences have evaporated. This will be worrying not just for Samsung, but for Motorola and all the other tablet-makers trying to make a dent in Apple's market. Expect a lot of pre-announced tablets to mysteriously disappear.

Lee's words are telling. These companies are doing all they can to compete with the iPad, but - as Steve Jobs said at the launch event on Wednesday - they're making PCs. And nobody is buying them, because iPad buyers don't care about megapixels and CPU clock-speeds.

A final remark from Lee sums up the bewilderment these companies must be feeling. "Apple made it very thin" he said.
