imo, defy/liquid metal/x10 will be better
as it going to be better than ace, means it going to compete against these with a same price..

based on this points:

If Neo really comes out, maybe other price might drop further.

In my head currently, Liquid metal but no secondary cam, Galaxy Sl but cam no flash, Defy but need to flash to 2.2 lolz

So I better wait 1 more week,

could someone recommend me a smartphone with these in mind

1. Brand : Any

2. Budget : RM 1000 - 1500

3. Specs : Video call capability, touchscreen, can access email and light internet browsing

4. Type/Size : Any but must have QWERTY keys

p.s - very very noob at smartphones. current phone is quite old and dated

Nokia C5-00 is a very slim handphone and with big keypad as well.

If you do not mind using the virtual QWERTY phone, Nokia N8 can fullfill your need with a superb camera.

If you want physical QWERTY keyboard, Nokia C6-00 should do the job.

LM/x10 got 1Ghz proc, x10 got better cam+HD video, acer camera quality aint that good [from users comment]

Motorola's accessories are hard to find compared to Nokia.

Hi folks!

I would like to ask for some suggestions as to which phone i should buy. My budget is only around RM 700 and i only prefer Nokia/Sony Ericsson/Samsung.

Main concern is:

1. Brand: Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung

2. Budget: Around RM 700

3. Specs: Good music output, good camera and if possible, WIFI.

4. Type/Size: Nice looking phone and not too big.


If possible, please pick one of the best phone from each brand(within my budget) and compare them and give a conclusion as to which phone is better overall. Also, please do give some cons of the phone you picked as the best out of those three.

nokia c7 - for EDoF camera+HD video [non autofocus so easy use for those who can't handle autofocus..], free ovi maps[gps], videocall camera..

android - apps playing, customizing, web surfing with flash
se xperia x10[upcoming 2.3 will bring with flash bah]
acer liquid metal [2.2 officially]

Why you backed off from Nokia C7?

First hand Nokia 5800 costs near to RM800 like that, that is if you can get a stock for it.

Nokia C5-00 is slim and have big keypad. Nokia C5-03 is within your budget as well.
