Actually if u look at your " needs " and " wants " , at times i find myself wondering , do i actually need a duo core phone ? I mean , how often do i use it and fully utilized both cores ..... I do play some 3D games but not long b4 my batt starts 2 scream ... With the launching of duo core , older generation single core phones will b dropping price ... U can always consider those as well so no need 4 u to have a headache of a phone or a L lens ... IF u can make money like part time photographer , L lens is a must bro .... Alot of consumers these days dont judge by your skill but how big is your " equipment " .

my last phone was 5800XM, which was around 2 years ago. phone still kickin, but scratches here and there, and symbian is just to plain and slow. but i want Canon L lens i not satisfied with kit lens.

I got a better idea, hold one awhile, get the lens, then get the phone?? cool eh??

if ur a photographer, mayb u can get some job contracts, mayb photograph for wedding and all, then by the time this damn phone gets released, u got enuf money to buy the phone.

There is no problem or wrong using a phone for 3 years though, I used my Sony W850i for 3 years already by this coming April. I'm targeting this SGS2 when it comes out and will buy it once the price get stable.

Back to the release date, if SG launch on April I think we can get it on Malaysia by May- early June, still whole lot of months to wait. I would expect a price of RM2599 or RM2699..kinda steep though after waited for so long..

very true. 2.7k is alot to demand from due to the competition, but samsung has successfully differentiated themselves with their signature samoled screens.

but, its just the guessing price now that is done by the online retailers.
They dont even know the real price, they r guessing based on previous sgs model, and tryingto push their luck due to a new model, plus alittle more with more profit.
