Hi guys....original vios tyres are 185/60/15 .. I was just wondering is it possible that i change to 195/60/15 ?

Will there be a problem ?

no problem... but as the category of tires ranking will be different please do not expect the new tire will be a good as the old tire (RE080) in handling and traction wise... FC wise comfort tires will give you better FC but performance tires will consume more fuel... thats all...
if you were to take 195/55 R15 you can try few others which is comfort and not bad in traction...
there are Continental Premium Contact 2, Michelin Primacy LC (they are available at 195/60 R15 too), Toyo Teo Plus, or Falken 912...
the 912 is cheap and nice but there is complaint that the outer block wear of too fast... but that is due to lower pressure you put into the tires, normal ppl will put only around 30 PSI but if you read the manual it reccomend u to put around 32 PSI...
different tire different comfortness although same in the profile series (50, 55 or 60)... depends a lot of the sidewall properties that the manufacture had put in it... if you think the current setup is nice... then i suggested you to try 195/55 R15 use Continental PC2 or even if you want good tires and u don mind a lil noisy u should give Hankook V12 or Toyo DRB series a try... those 2 is directional tires but it can be consider quiet in the category... the grip is nice too but not compensate too much on the comfortness... smile.gif

u need to pair up the tires, suspension system to get the handling and ride quality smile.gif

increasing in traction but need to scarify in FC

wrong... that is decrease of traction coz the potenza series is the high performance series while 195/60 R15 is more towards the comfort series... so the traction might not be as good as the RE080 the give you previously...

195/55 R15 is much better... 195/50 R15 is for older gen... smile.gif
