I heard that the Toyota window tinting is not manually applied like the normal tint shop but rather it was integrated or moulded together with the glass. Is that right?

Is that the reason why it cost more than 2K?

i want to asking, the tail lamp vios 2006 can be install in 2003?

tat is crap= =...their tinting, is manual tint as usual, they just call outside panel to come in tint one....
tat is not the reason cost 2k,
the reason is u din go research lol...sry to say tat><

Hi, I'll be getting a secondhand Toyota Vios, Year 2008, E spec.

I would like to know whether the 2008 model has the same items as the current E spec. Does anyone know? Or have a brochure from back then? I can't find it online...

i think different in term of appearence and interior only, not much.

you will get a beige color interior, plus old round design steering. the rest pretty much the same. not to forget the grill also not the same. hope this helps



i would like to as all vios owner about situation i had previously with my vios.

1. during my cruise up to genting, i dont have any problem actually, but at certain point i rev up to much, up to 7k rpm to push my vios up, i was driving with 4 passanger including me, with full load of rear bonnet. does that do any effect to engine/gearbox and any recommendation to do preventive maintenance as i dont want it to spoilt later too early

2. on same situation, there's time where under car scratch with speed bump on genting, due to 4 passangers and full load of rear bonnet. which part could be hitted and what effect on my car? fyi after almost a month driving, the car still behave healthy as ever, but i afraid i miss something that need immidiate check up

the major different should be the side mirror signal indicator...first batch 2008 dont have..

let us share modification/add on done to our ride

mine, vios e spec, exterior still stock standard, no modification

add on

1. brake lock (locktact)

2. custom car coil mat with side sewing and heelpad

3. original toyota optitron meter (same as s spec/trd sportivo)

for me, all this add on really a worth their money

for brake lock, it's for security purpose and it's plug and play, no wire cutting involve, and you need to disengage the lock first then only can start the engine

for custom coil mat, it completed the looks, and makes interior cleaner and it's easy to clean and wash it.

and for optitron meter, i just love its glow and it's multi info display

please share your add on and modification
