U all blacklist Shell engine oil but most of u here tried Shell HX7 rite? What about Ultra? Am I gonna be the guinea pig here again? :

I think it only happen when the engine is cold..
Mine got some funny sound when my engine is cold or early in the morning

It's not that I'm staying away from Petronas' engine oils. It's just that it never crossed my mind to use Petronas. LoL. Even when I serviced my car at Proton also they offered me Shell, no Petronas.. CoSE offers Petronas, but I not sure about their price lah..

Totally agree on ZenGTMM. Pour away bout 500ML to another bottle and pass the balance to SC.
This will totally control..SC never listen one or those service consultant forgotten to pen it down on the jobsheet.

Which Syntium? At Rm97, definitely it is not fully synthetic anymore. Most likely Syntium 800 semi-syn.

never ever ever use wd40 on any rubber parts / materials especially on timing belts or accessory belts. it will deteriorate the material very fast. if needed, use only silicone based lubes as it is safe for use.

FYI, timing belt do not or ever makes any noises (be it squealing, "chit chit chit noises") in the morning like some forumer states in here. only accessory belts will make noises after some time. to solve it is very simple really and you dun even have to replace it just because it makes noises. either use silicone based lubes / spray OR rub some candle wax under the belt where it runs over the pulleys. kawtim.

The difference is, even tho rockford output is lower, it's actually 300w RMS, while Adams' is 1000w peak.

I have doubt on the problem if changing tiers to lower profile or rim to bigger diameter will affect the actual km/h reading, it also means that our mileage meter reading will never provide accurate reading. Exp: we suppose to change lube each 5k km but since the meter not accurate we can't count just to add 5000 to existing mileage. 
The average fuel L/100km also not accurate any more, because ECU use the mileage meter reading and fuel level to calculate the average fuel consumption. Is it why many people have different comment on FC after changing rim and tiers.

i still think wonder wanna change to petronas or continue use shell lo..but mostly i will try to use petronas 10-40 since my previous wira was use it more than 4yrs lo..hehe

i use petronas engine oil.
before this fill up shell fuel
but then fill petronas fuel feel car got more pickup power than shell

okok..i will use the petronas on next week..can ask sc dun pour 4L finish into engine?

they pour finsih at my 1k and 5k service

about over pouring ....
some how .... i confronted them before... but it seems.. no people have the problem of overfill.....when they use petronas oil supplied by the sc... they say they always pour everything in.. just nice....

but of cos.. my case was... i brought my own engine oil (shell helix ultra)...
