Eh today at Damansara near my uni.. I was driving my car lookin for parking.. Then got a few students, guys & gals, checkin out my R3 rims..
My friend sitting beside me was telling me that one particular guy was checking out my rims like how a guy would check out a gal's butt.. LOL

Hahaha... Too bad lah.. I viper mah.. venom.. kekeke...

Anyway, Proton's price is actually not bad if anyone here is considering a change to R3 rims. Their package at RM 2,999 includes Bridgestone Potenza RE001 tyres. The only prob is they don't take trade ins. If not, it's quite a good deal.

16 inch tyres around RM300-350 each. Toyo T1R at RM368 each.

Persona can take up to 16 inch without centre cone. 17 inch onwards need centre cone.

Correction,

whether center cone needed or not,
is depends on the RIM's Center-bore.

for example,
the RIM i got is CB 73mm
[attachmentid=2083907]

while Gen2/Persone's CB is 67mm or 69mm (can't recall)
so for my case definitely need center cone to make the RIM fit perfectly into the wheel hub.

Piggyback ECU i might consider.. But not camshaft lah..

Hmmm... This is very subjective.. Ok, I'll put it this way:

1. Optimum tyre pressure for that set of 17 inch is 32-33 KPA if u want comfort, 34-35 KPA if u want good handling. I usually leave it at 33 to get a balance of both.
2. If the road is very rough (not potholes, just rough due to bad roadworks), then u might be able to feel the road surface a bit.
3. Leave ur pressure at 32-33 if u want comfort. Otherwise, 34-35 if u're going up Genting or thrashing corners.

wow... very economical in long term, but will SC approve it if I install it? will effect my warranty? really scared if my warranty void, rugi....

where can check R3 rim price, is the R3 rim come toghter with tyer whole set or can buy just the rim only ?
The iridium spark plug you guys using is IK20 or IK22 which is better?
changing extrator, bullet and mid box will affect the warranty or not ?

Mid + tail section at RM 950 now. Extractor at RM 450.

The next wave of new stocks coming in price will increase quite a lot.

Turns out today it's not IAFM problem. After service the sound is gone but still can be heard at times, although very very soft. Sensitive ears larr...

OEM filter? I just used it for 3 days already grey like newspaper.

but from my feeling la,no regrets putting powerzone la...once u install just the extractor u will feel the difference expecially in low end torque..u will for sure feel it...

most importhing thing is look is there is any scratch or dent or colour peel off..other than that it is not so important la..if headlights/signal lights burn
can be replace ma...but if u wan a throughout inspection,try serach in the earlier post..
