thanx in advance.

*
hi gerl,
ahh, lyn hardware failure. Luckily i've Pm-ed you.
Post reply resend:

For medibac range, we have no idea when it launch here because it takes time for msia government on approval process thought its been launched over US half yr back.

If you still having regular breakouts, i would suggest not to use the daily microfoliant first, in fact:
exfoliate - gentle cream exfoliant 75ml
mask - antibac cooling masque 75ml

the brightenning set is retail at RM399.thanks

Hi Rayanne,

Wanted to check with you cause since I'm using the Barrier Repair, I find that though it's not getting irritated that often but there are some parts of the skin around my cheek which is getting a bit dry & rough. cry.gif

Do you think maybe I need to change the Barrier Repair to another moisturizer (e.g: smoothing cream)? sweat.gif

Hey bev,
i would like to encourage you to use exfoliator more frequently than you do now haha rolleyes.gif
Daily microfoliant twice a week perfect one follow by skin hydrating mask/moisturiser;
gentle cream exfoliant when you have breakouts though.
Skin renewal is good..you wont look dull, in fact, go out with glowing & brighten skin. TQ

Dermalogica Education
[Basic steps of facial skin care routine: Cleansing]

The purpose of washing/cleansing is to remove dirt, makeup, grime, contaminants and so forth from the surface of the skin. Proper cleansing not only removes impurities but also clears the way for the penetration of active ingredients you may want to apply afterwards. Cleansing may be beneficial or damaging, depending on how you do it.

Most people should cleanse their face twice a day, usually in the morning and before going to bed at night. It is best to use warm (lukewarm) water and a mild cleanser (free of harsh detergents, soaps, alcohol or other irritants). Here is the key steps and recommendations to follow:
o Gently run cleanser all over your face with your fingertips for about 20-25 seconds
o Splash running warm water in your face several times to rinse off the cleanser until there is no more residue on your skin. Do not direct the stream of water onto your face.
o Take a clean towel and gently pat your face. Make sure it remains moist.
o Apply a moisturizer or an active skin care product of choice onto clean, moist skin. Massage product into your face by gently tapping with your fingers until it is absorbed. No pulling or tugging.

Cleansers vary by the amount and types of detergents, moisturizers, emollients and other ingredients. Selecting the right cleanser depends on your skin type. But whatever your skin type may be, avoid cleansers with harsh detergents (such as sodium lauryl sulfate and its analogs), soap and alcohol (except perhaps for extremely oily skin).

Dermalogica Education[Basic steps of facial skin care routine: Toning]

Toning is often touted as an essential step in a skin care routine. It is not. At least not always. The only exception is very oily skin. If you have oily skin and after cleansing it remains sticky or oily, you might benefit from applying toner after cleansing. Otherwise toning may do more harm than good.
Most toners contain alcohol and/or witch hazel. Both are drying and irritating, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin. If you still feel you need a toner, use a soothing toner free of alcohol or witch hazel, such as alcohol-free toner with Chamomile.

You do not want to strip every last molecule of oil from your skin. Only grime, makeup and excess oil on the surface needs to be removed. The underlying thin coat of fresh sebum is best left undisturbed. Toners, especially alcohol-based ones, tend to strip everything off, leaving the skin dry and/or irritated.

Some experts argue that toners help close pores and tighten cell gaps after cleansing, thus reducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminants into the skin. Whether this is true is debatable. Even assuming it is, most people finish their skin care routine by applying skin care products with active ingredients, in which case you actually want as much penetration as possible. Preceding an active treatment with a toner that closes pores and tightens cell gaps may be counterproductive. After the active product has absorbed into your skin, you can close pores simply by cooling your face. The cold constricts blood vessels and closes pores, producing a toning effect. You can simply step outside if it is a cold time of the year or gently pat your skin with a cold pack (refrigerated but not frozen) for a few seconds. If you are not using any active products, you can tone after cleansing by wiping your face with a chip of frozen green tea. The cold from the ice helps close your pores; the caffeine and tannins in the tea help tighten skin and reduce puffiness; and green tea polyphenols may provide antioxidant benefits. But don't overuse the cold - frequent excessive cooling may increase the risk of developing rosacea (stubborn skin redness).

My advise is never ever visit the Dermalogica Centre at Yulek, Taman Cheras, KL.
I love going for facials and tried dermalogica centre at Yulek, because its near to my house.

The products are quite nice and suites me well but the service there is horrible.
They will give you good service the first few times, until you sign up their package. But, right after that, you'll find it difficult to book for facials... i managed to book a few times, but they ask me to go home once I was thr because they have walk-in customers, unless you are willing to wait till all of their customers are done.

I signed up for 5 times facial package, but till now, I cant go for facial even once even though I've made full payment. cry.gif

YomieE,
Sad news. anyway there are leonard drake/belle lina/asterspring franchises (LD centres) carrying dermalogica product; as well as dealer. Not sure you are referring to franchise or dealer. I think for dealer customer service, the esthetic group can not control much. For your case, i think you can really engage other branch. if its franchise, maybe can you ask them to relocate you to other franchise for treatment? if its dealer, then this might not be done because it is not under esthetic group.
