Hi Rayanne,

Would like to check with you if you have used the Averine 'Satin Smooth Foundation'?

How is it? Is it good?

It caught my attention cause it has Shea Butter which I heard is quite good for the skin. blush.gif

Hi KinoKo,
For dry skin condition, I would suggest the following:
essential cleansing solution
Retail 500ml RM208; 250ml RM138
skin condition: drier or prematurely-aging skin
This rich, creamy cleanser nourishes dry skin while cleansing away impurities. (more)
Remark: this is milky white type.

ultracalming cleanser for face and eyes
Retail 500ml RM219; 250ml RM139
skin condition: environmentally-sensitized
Extra-gentle cleansing, healing and protection for skin aggravated by environmental influences. (more)
Remark: this is little transparent gel type

UGPM! TQ.

Hi Rayanne,

Thanks for the info... currently I'm using Red Earth foundation.

And am thinking of changing to this once it's finished. brows.gif

So will be looking for you to order this product maybe end of this year. wink.gif

Added on June 29, 2007, 10:10 pmHi Rayanne,

I've actually bought a Kanebo Sponge Chief for make-up removal...

I think it would be something similar to the Dermalogica "The Sponge Cloth".

But when it's fully dry, It'll become a very hard cloth... and I do mean really HARD! Not foldable after that.

But if I were to fold it while it's still wet, dark spots starts to appear after awhile. Is there anyway for me to fold it without having the dark spots coming out.

Appreciate your advice... notworthy.gif

Hi Bev,
Yeah averine is a good choice though. It is Make-care comestic, make up while protecting skin.

We have The sponge cloth from dermalogica but never encounter your problem like the one you bought from K brand. Do you rinse properly and hang for air-dry (sun ray exposure, not into wet washroom)?

The dermalogica sponge cloth is:
A super-soft cleansing cloth, gentle enough for even the most sensitized skin. Use dampened with water to remove all Dermalogica cleansers. Rinse cloth thoroughly, and allow to air-dry.

how it works
Made from biodegradeable, bacteria-resistant fabric.
Machine-washable.
Includes convenient travel pouch.

the dark spot u mean is like 生乌龟 which due to no air-dry.. but wet-dry..?!

Hi Rayanne,

Well you see the dark spots will only appear if I were to fold it to it's original shape while it's still wet. Luckily it's only a few spots so far....

But since the dark spots started appearing, I've been leaving it dry all out and it has stopped appearing more. Unfortunately, when the cloth is fully dry, I will not be able to fold it cause it'll be especially hard.

Any way for me to fold it without having to add 1 more spot on the clothe while it's still marginally wet? cry.gif

Dermalogica Newsletter Vol.50
[MVP Firm: Best eye & lips product]

Unlike the other formulas in the Dermalogica retail range, Speciality products are designed to zone-in on specific areas of the face, rather than focus on overall conditions. They are each highly individualized in their application - your skin care therapist can help you determine which Specialities will target your skin concerns.

This month, we introduce >

multivitamin power firm, 15ml
skin condition: all
Combat visible lines around the eye and mouth area with this powerful firming complex. Seaweed Extract, Vitamins A, C and E, plus a healing shield of Organic Silicones, protect against damage, accelerate repair, strengthen elasticity and improve smoothness.

how it works

Pure Vitamins A, C and E in an anhydrous (waterless) base accelerate the skin's natural repair process, strengthening elasticity and improving smoothness.
Corallina Officinalis Extract, a red seaweed, helps to firm the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines.
A protective shield of Organic Sillicones helps prevent moisture loss and protects vulnerable skin.

For daily resurfacer, you can do it evening time, best time for exfoliate. you can apply it bare face without toner actually because after u use it, all dirts are away though smile.gif

Hi Chasya,

You are back! It is been decade you did not login to forum huh?
Fortunately we still can keep in touch via phone.

Try this,
QUOTE
oil control lotion
skin condition
skin prone to excess oil production and breakouts

A feather-light lotion with technically advanced micro-sponges to absorb oil on the skin's surface throughout the day, reducing shine and providing a smooth, matte finish. Formulated with Salicylic Acid to help prevent future breakouts and exclusive Skin Response Complex of Balm Mint, Coneflower and Camphor to soothe and purify the skin. Ideally suited for an oily or acne-prone skin. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised.

how it works
Salicylic Acid helps prevent breakouts.
Balm Mint, Coneflower and Camphor help purify and soothe irritated skin.
Allantoin, Bisabolol, Panthenol and Witch Hazel help nourish and calm skin.
Phospholipids help moisturize without adding extra oil.

alternately, pls pm me your current cleanser /moisturiser type. Currently for oil control lotion 118ml i do not have stock, may need to pre order for it. TQ wub.gif

Tips of the day:
Combo Skin Care
smile.gif

Is it Ok to use an acne cleanser, a whitening toner and an anti-aging cream in one regimen? After all, it is quite probably to have all those skin concerns, all at the same time...

According to consultant dermatologist Dr. Koh, it's not that advisable to mix skin care ranges. At least not when the various products have different active ingredients - that effectively do something to the skin like acne-busting salicylic acid, anti-aging retinoids, or brightening acids. This is because one range may interfere with the effects of the other and worse, mixing them may broing about an irritation. So if you have got miltiple skin concerns, Dr.Koh recommends treating one problem at a time. So follow an acne range until it clears out before using an anti-aging or whitening range.

hi silverchain,
honestly speaking, to remove acne marks efficiently and quickest way you need to go tru treatment like laser, available at leonard drake salon, each cost around RM3-400 per session. Continuous few sessions may see feasible result in lightenning the acne marks slowly. Provided you have the budget.

Scar/marks removing via product is the cost -saver way but it takes a long time. exfoliatation tends to remove dead skin cells on skin surface and allow skin renewal. Also, products can helps you to maintain a acne-free skin. This is more important.

In short, serious acne marks you can think of some treatment to lighten it. Those like pigmentation > acne scarring/marks > wrinkles are time-consuming to get rid of. Not to talk about completely removed but lighten is a good start. most important is get ourselves a acne free skin, sunblock application to avoid pigmentation and moisture all time. TQ
