QUOTE(ahtsong @ Apr 27 2011, 10:55 AM) bro...all same la, now Nasim (under Naza) is the authorizes Peugeot and sole distributor of Peugeot. Naza Pug = Original Pug now...no dif Yupp..i was about to say the same...Added on April 27, 2011, 11:31 am QUOTE(XionCity @ Apr 27 2011, 11:02 AM) IMO, whether it is CKD or CBU..all parts used & manufacturing processes are surely been endorsed by the Peugeot itself. It just that the main purpose for CKDing the car is to obtain cheaper manufacturing & selling cost..right? If my memory still serves me right, not all Pug under Nasim are CKD (ie 207, 308, 407 are CKD Pug), some of the CBU Pug models under it stable are 3008 & 5008. & as far as 308THP, 3008 & 5008 are concern, all used the same engine regardless CKD/CBU status. So in this case, it has nothing to do with the originality This post has been edited by izputra: Apr 27 2011, 11:33 AM |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Apr 27 2011, 08:05 PM) anyone knows vios maintenance cost? just curious..i have a feeling it is a lot more than our forte cos their labour really cutthroat UMW Toyota are not dare enough to publish their vehicles' maintenance cost in the website..maybe have to search for this info from the Vios owner him/herself. Though my father owned the new Vios, but the car just finished its 2nd service (low mileage for a 1 year old car), so need to find another Vios for comprehensive data gathering.Added on April 28, 2011, 8:30 amBro kyheng..very cynical siggy u got..hahaha This post has been edited by izputra: Apr 28 2011, 08:30 AM |

QUOTE(XionCity @ May 3 2011, 03:39 PM) hey guys...technical juz told me my car have engine knocking sound....and juz ignore it....but as i knw, engine knocking means engine wan rosak ald....so wat can i do? Bro..AFAIK, engine knocking doesnt mean that the engine going to rosak already. Engine knocking sometime can be caused by fuel (i mean, refueling with a bad batch of fuel)..in this case, it can be solved by as easy as changing the fuel brand/station or perhaps use a higher RON fuel. Beside a bad batch of fuel, actually several factors contributed to engine knocking including higher compression (due to carbon build up inside the engine) that makes the fuel ignite prematurely (hence the knocking). In this case, using an effective engine cleaner might do to remove the carbon deposits inside the engine.Added on May 3, 2011, 3:59 pmGuys, do u think any1 will buy my 4spd Forte if I sell it at around RM65k?? As long as u drive your car with precaution (dont over rev) & bring your car to SC for proper diagnose, i can safely say that your engine wont rosak. As i said before, if the culprit (that caused the engine knocking) can be identified, it usually can be solved with relatively ease. Please dont panic up to the extend that u wanna sell your car bro...it's nothing This post has been edited by izputra: May 3 2011, 04:58 PM |

QUOTE(epo @ May 7 2011, 11:00 PM) This inpira owner only reply if there's something bad, if good no reply... Dunno what's his intention... Yupp..i noticed that also. Just trolling here like bro kyheng said. I dont mind if inspira owner or other car's owner involve in this Forte thread especially if they giving some constructive discussions. This kind of trolling do no good whatsoever but instead introduce provocations. Anyway, at least our Forte got its own identity & pride but not other car's identity & pride Added on May 8, 2011, 3:37 pm QUOTE(seanoys @ May 7 2011, 11:38 AM) Omg my start stop button issue is getting worst!!!! And I wonder how long will the parts take to arrive!!!! Pissing me off We still have an emergency engine starting procedure if the brake sensor/switch failed..just need 10 seconds only maa. It is good to have this fail-safe mechanism right? Anyway, just wait calmly & hopefully your brake sensor/switch will arrive soon This post has been edited by izputra: May 8 2011, 03:37 PM |

QUOTE(kybeng @ May 8 2011, 04:21 PM) have Naza identity and pride, parts taking a long time to arrive, with substandard quality... new car but QC is not there... Nope..u misunderstood my words. I'm talking about the car itself. what i'm trying to say is the car (Forte in this context) is at least got it own design, identity & personality to be pride off regardless the manufacturer or its distributor. Not the cars like Wira or Inspira (sorry to say but it's true) that stole other car's identity (Mitsubishi cars). Anyway, previously i also owned a problematic Wira Aeroback & Waja P/s: Your phrase "QC is not there" is very misleading (i understand it as no QC at all). every new car will run thru some sort of QC/QA before coming out from the assembly plan & i bet u knew that. But most (if not all) of it still have its own defects regardless any makes. Only the magnitude of the defects that differs among the car makers which conclude to different attention-to-details adopted by each of them. QUOTE(lkoky @ May 8 2011, 05:34 PM) Did u try to rub it off to see whether is it really a rust on your car's door or some sort of sticky dirt? If it is really a rust, just send your car back to SC for rectification & some corrective paint job if needed |

QUOTE(kyheng @ May 10 2011, 08:26 AM) ^This I have to disagree with you wor.... At least Inspira can suddenly shut its ECU down because want to attempt to kill an innocent biker and send the innocent driver to jail..... This is something Forte can't catch up.... I cant catch up this phrase..could u elaborate more on that |
