i wanna ask if anyone having problem with the wifi...

for me when i open my macbook pro from sleep mode, the wifi will connect but then it takes sometime only it can online...i cannot load any website as if i am offline and i have to wait around 10 minutes then only i can open the webpage...is this normal???

not really, the 9400m and 320m were quite good, the reason for intel GC is because its integrated with the processor so they cant pair it with nvidia integrated GC due to a settlement between nvidia and intel.

nevermind, figured it out already. Finally Windows 7 Ultimate is running on my Mac. 

Just curious, I'm sure there are people using windows 7 on PD or VMware. How much RAM is your mac equipped?
Mine is running at 4GB and whenever i turn on PD and even without any program running in windows, it sucks a huge chunk of RAM out and leave less than 200mb free.

Would upgrading the RAM to 8GB helps?

I'm considering getting a MacBook, it's either Air or Pro. I am thinking of getting the 11" 128GB full spec (RM 4,356.00) as well as 13" 128GB full spec (RM 4,329.00), both around the same price, also considering MacBook Pro 13" 2.7 GHz default spec (RM 4,599.00) which slightly expensive a bit.

May I know which one is worth to get? My usage would be mostly casual use, not playing game, and portability is in the consideration.

Will the 11" too small for me? Or 13" is good to go? Should I get Pro instead? Will the Air too slow for me?

By the way, I would like to know if there is any way to save some cost for buying a MacBook, as I see from previous post that I can just upgrade the RAM my self, saving a lot of cost here. Other than that, what else I can do to save cost?

hi all, just got my mbp few days ago was wondering weather mac has a picture viewer that has somehow similar function with window piture and fax viewer at Window.

the default pic preview at mac is good however it doesnt support flip to next or previous pic if you dont select.

any pro here got good suggestion?

hey guys... i just bought a MBA 11" 1.4/2gb ram.
I need to run win7 on this baby. What would be the best performance ? Running Parallels Desktop 6 or Bootcamp ?

Previously i was using a mbp 15"/4gb ram and found no issue running PD6. With this lesser powered MBA, i'm just wondering what would the best config be. tyvm.

it's for work actually ... i have a software that needs to run Microsoft Framework 3.5 sp1. And was told i can't install that software in MAC OSX .. else i wun even bother loading up win7. and while running the framework software i'll need to do some reporting as well via microsoft office...
so now it seems i'll hav to install office both in bootcamp and also in mac...

nvm i've tried loading PD6 just now.. seems ok and not slow...
however my next Q is ... my mba11" comes with 2gb ddr3 1066. CAn i upgrade to 4GB (2GBx2). Heard someone told me MBA 's ram is soldered and cannot be upgraded.

Grats. I got myself a free 50 AUD coupon for complaining as well. Courier service tried to sent my things 3 times and kept putting the not around card at my house while I am in the house. Couldnt stand any longer, called them up to get a  refund. But they delivered in the end, Apple said they'll give me a 50 AUD discount for the inconvenience. Woot. And i get the refund.
