Guys recently i keep lost bandwidth from my WiFi though it was connected.
I think the problem wasn't with the WiFi as i have another laptop beside where do not have any problem.

The only solution I have so far is to off and on the WiFi.

But I really want to know the root problem :/

For me I experience this problem sometimes where half way surfing the net, I can't connect to the internet. But my airport shows full signal. I have to turn the airport off and on it again. Then only it will be back to normal Only happens 1-2 times in 2 weeks.

Also, 2010 and 2011 MBPs has different specs rite? what are the most noticeable difference in terms of specs? I had noticed that for example a 13" MBP between 2010 and 2011 versions are the hard disc storage, 2010 - 250GB, 2011 - 320GB? correct me if im wrong

mostly different is Processor and graphic card..

does anyone knows how to change the input settings for date in microsoft excel --- currently, i input 1/2/2011 --- but excel shows 2/1/2011, where i intended 1=day, 2=month, 2011=year .. but cell shows month in the front. I have tried to change the language and text settings but to no avail.

My iPhone can connect to the wifi an have Internet access, my MacBook pro can connect too but it shows a icon ! Saying no Internet connection.. What's the problem??

it proly means limited excess. try off-ing and n-ing the router. sometimes it helps.

Added on June 1, 2011, 10:31 amMy mbp 17" gets really dim ( like lowest screen brightness )when i unplug my power source, using battery power only.
After like 30 secs it gets brighter back on to normal.

Do u guys experience this too?????

But i tot it gets slightly dim only ( ticked in the energy saver preference ) when not connected to power supply?

is it due to ambient light change? did u unchecked the auto ambient sensor stuff?

Feel like buy a MacBook PRO 13".
Should I get now or wait for new MBP?
